Romney Would Support ‘Anybody’ Except These Two GOP Candidates

Utah Sen. Mitt Romney revealed the two GOP presidential candidates he refuses to support under any circumstance in a “Person to Person” interview that aired on CBS News.
Romney responded that he would support “anybody” except former President Donald Trump and entrepreneur Vivek Ramaswamy when asked by Norah O’Donnell if there was anybody he liked in the Republican field.
“You know, I would uh, I’d be happy to support virtually any one of the Republicans. Maybe not Vivek. But uh, but the others that are running would be acceptable to me, and I’d be happy to vote for them,” Romney said.
“Not surprising,” Ramaswamy wrote on social media above a reposted clip of the senator’s sit-down interview.
“I’d be happy to vote for a number of the Democrats too,” Romney told O’Donnell. “I mean, it would be an upgrade from, in my opinion, from, uh, Donald Trump.

That right there gives credence to BOTH Trump AND Ramasaway who I think at this point Trump should pick as his VP - the presumptive presidential frontrunner in 2028. If the Left hates them, they must be doing something right.

Mitt Romney is trash. But he’s not that much of an outlier in the GOP leadership.
There are many like him.
And that’s obviously a problem. Democrats support each other. Republicans spend their time organizing circular firing squads.

Willard, I backed you to the hilt when you ran for president, despite you not being 100% of what I would ideally look for in a president. This isn't a snit show. This isn't kindergarten. You did not have 'the right stuff', but you still embodied a better option than your opponent (in my opinion). It's what a political party is all about.
But, Mr. Romney seems to think it is all about him and not what is ultimately better for the country. I feel differently.
