For years, Stacey Abrams was held up as the paragon of a Georgia Democrat, with a national ID that could even propel her to the White House some day. But these days, so close to another election that could hinge on Georgia, she’s practically invisible. “It kind of feels like she’s fading in the background,” one Democratic operative told NOTUS. “Like, not trying to be mean to her, but, you know, you lost a lot.”

This is a subject that I wish got more attention. My late husband was a victim of a scam at a time when he was too ill to have this kind of stress. I’ve held a hard grudge since. That particular scam was different but the premise is the same. Hit the victim emotionally and get the money by any means.. Scammer Payback is one of my favorites, but there are several working on various platforms that do amazing work. I watch how they target these low life scum, using their computers and cameras against them, stealing their files, finding...

The bill, SB 150, which passed despite the Governor's attempt to veto it, bans transgender medical treatment for minors and restricts discussions of sexual orientation and gender identity in schools. John Podesta, the Senior Advisor to the President for Clean Energy Innovation and Implementation, took to the White House briefing room podium on Wednesday to blame climate change for the Maui wildfire and to tout the Inflation Reduction Act. Claiming that the summer had brought “one climate disaster after another,” Podesta connected hot temperatures to the fires in Maui, though there is no direct evidence linking climate change to the disaster. The biggest environmental factor — as the San Francisco Chronicle recently reported — was the spread of invasive alien grass species, which are more flammable than the indigenous vegetation...

We all like to think we're immune to scams. We scoff at emails from an unknown sender offering us £2 million, in exchange for our bank details. But the game has changed and con artists have developed new, chilling tactics. They are taking the personal approach and scouring the internet for all the details they can find about us. Scammers are getting so good at it that even cybersecurity experts are taken in. One of us (Oliver Buckley) recalls that in 2018 he received an email from the pro-vice chancellor of his university. "This is it, I thought. I'm finally...
