When courts-martial presiding authority Col. Denise Lind issued a ruling that blocked Lt. Col. Terrence Lakin's constitutional right to provide a defense by denying him a right to discovery and evidence supporting his decision to refuse what he believed to be illegal orders, thousands of fellow military veterans unified in Lakin's defense. The Veterans Council of the The United States Patriots Union, led by respected retired officers like Maj. Gen. Paul Vallely and Col. Harry Riley, and Sgt. Timothy Harrington issued White Paper #1 on September 3, 2010. It recommended a slightly different defense strategy for Lt. Col. Lakin that...

An Army doctor charged with disobeying a deployment order because he doubts President Barack Obama's credentials as commander in chief is asking a military judge for access to the president's school and college records. Lt. Col. Terrence Lakin also is requesting during a hearing Thursday at Fort Meade a subpoena to depose the custodian of Obama's birth records with the state of Hawaii.

The key defense attorney for an Army officer being put on trial for refusing orders he views as suspect because of the possibility Barack Obama is not eligible to be commander-in-chief is demanding documentation from the president. On the G. Gordon Liddy radio show today, Paul Rolf Jensen said the request for "discovery" in the Lt. Col. Terrence Lakin case – the access by the defense to documentation in the government's possession that could help its case – is being submitted. Jensen had been asked whether there is a legal basis for denying a defendant on trial on criminal charges...

Over twenty-five percent of Americans, say that President Obama's 49th birthday is not this week. A poll called “where were you really born that day?” summoned this up into question. The persistent theory boosted heavily by conservative activists that Obama was not born in Hawaii, but that he was born outside of the country of the U.S. The CNN/Opinion research Corp. survey said 27 percent of responsive people doubt that Obama's father is telling the truth or that his birth certificate is real. 42% have no doubts, 29% said he probably was born in Hawaii, but couldn't give a sure...

There's been much in the news lately regarding the "birther movement," or more specifically, whether the Big First congressional candidates believe President Obama is a legitimate U.S. citizen. The controversy began when the Hutchinson News withdrew their endorsement for Tracey Mann, following radio comments in which Mann said Obama "needs to come forth with his papers and show everyone that he is an American citizen." The Hays Daily News asked all six Republican candidates to weigh in on the matter. Here are their responses: Jim Barnett: "First of all, there are many important issues facing our nation. When I see...

Our worst suspicions about Barack Obama are coming true. He is not a centrist as he claimed to be. He is a leftist, and he is destroying our way of life. Obama could be perpetrating the greatest fraud in American history. He could be an illegitimate president, and one who intentionally seeks to undermine our country. By the time the truth comes out, the damage to may be irreparable. Barack Obama's meteoric rise to power has been truly remarkable. He served a mere 143 days in the U.S. Senate prior to forming an exploratory committee for his presidential candidacy in...

A decision by Judges Dolores Sloviter, Maryanne Trump Barry and Thomas Hardiman of the 3rd U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals may have opened the door to questions on the record about President Obama's birth documentation and eligibility to be president, according to an attorney in the case. The judges' opinion recently dismissed as "frivolous" an appeal of a lower-court decision throwing out questions about whether the British Nationality Act of 1948 made Obama, at his birth to an American mother and Kenyan father, a subject of the British crown, thus possibly making him ineligible under the Constitution's requirement that a...

The controversy over President Barack Obama's citizenship has flared up again. And this time it involves someone in Bowling Green. This past Wednesday, World Net Daily published a story on the internet, saying a man who was a grad assistant at Western Kentucky University last semester, claims President Barack Obama was not born in Hawaii. That man is Tim Adams who was the Senior Elections Clerk for the city and county of Honolulu during the 2008 presidential election. But Adams says even though Obama may not have been born in Hawaii, he is still a U.S. citizen. GENE: "So let...

Michael Savage, the nation's No. 4-rated radio talk show host, blasted America for either disregarding or covering up questions of Barack Obama's eligibility to serve in the Oval Office and the possibility that "the presidency may have been usurped by a foreign power." "To have elected an unknown man of unknown origin, a man who's probably not even an American citizen – How can the whole military not know this?" Savage asked on air this past week. "How could the entire military establishment not be asking the same question that millions of Americans are asking? "Do you think it's plausible...

When the New York Times finally conducted its first poll on eligibility questions haunting Barack Obama, it asked them in ways specifically designed to make it appear the general public thought the whole matter was settled – as its own newsroom culture does. "Do you think President Obama was born in the U.S. or another country?" the CBS/New York Times poll asked sophomorically in April. Still, even with such a skewed question, the Big Media must have been shocked at the results: Only 58 percent of Americans think he was born in the United States. It was clear to me...

One of the biggest issues President Obama has had to deal with isn’t some foreign policy problem. Nor is it the health care debate. Nor is it the huge debt. While these are all issues that need to be dealt with, they aren’t the biggest ones. Much to the anger of many people, the biggest issue that President Obama has to deal with is whether he is an American citizen. In other words, people want to know whether he is actually eligible to be the President of the United States. This is a debate that has infuriated people on both...

Editor's note: This is another in a series of monthly "WND/WENZEL POLLS" conducted exclusively for WND by the public-opinion research and media consulting company Wenzel Strategies. At a time when Barack Obama is getting heat for stonewalling information about an alleged administration bribery scandal, a new poll shows more Americans than ever suspect the president is hiding information about his own background and want him to come clean. Questions about Obama's eligibility to be president, exacerbated by his refusal to answer questions, release ordinary background documentation and his extraordinary legal maneuvers to keep his background hidden, have been on the...

On May 12, the American Patriot Foundation announced that there will be an Article 32 military hearing that may reveal whether President Barack Obama is a native-born citizen of the United States. The hearing is set for June 11, after Lt. Col. Terrence Lakin refused to deploy to Afghanistan “because the president refuses — even in the face of mounting evidence to the contrary — to prove his eligibility under the Constitution to hold office.” The American Patriot foundation operates the Safeguard Our Constitution website, which generated a great deal of support for the movement for Obama to provide documentation...

Recently, a number of Web sites have stories reporting on Barack Obama using numerous Social Security numbers. The one most frequently used by him over the years is from Connecticut, where he has never lived, that begins with 042 and supposedly belongs to a man born in 1890. This is the latest in a long list of bizarre findings concerning our president, including his absolute refusal to produce his valid birth certificate and other documents presidents routinely make public. Occidental College, which he attended, has him using a SS number beginning with 999 in spite of the Social Security Administration...

The governor of Hawaii signed into law Wednesday a bill that allows state agencies to ignore records requests they deem to be duplicative or substantially similar to previous requests, The Associated Press reported. Though the bill was written in response to the large number of requests made to see President Obama's birth certificate -- which the health department told the Hawaii Reporter in March take up about 10 hours a week -- the language does not limit its scope to merely duplicative requests for the president's birth certificate. Instead, the law defines a "vexatious requester" as someone who files multiple...

First of all, it is not a birth certificate, and secondly it is not valid. I’m talking about Obama’s “green” altered COLB (Certificate Of Live Birth), that everyone from Fox’s Bill O’Reilly, to CNN’s Anderson Cooper, to White House Press Secretary Robert Gibbs, have been pointing to as “proof” that Obama is a Natural citizen of the United States, and therefore eligible to be POTUS. I’ll write this slowly so that Bill O’Reilly, and others of like-mind (the “after-birthers”) can follow along. The COLB says in great big EZ-to-read letters “Any Alterations Invalidate This Certificate.” Check. The COLB has been...

This is just plain nuts. Lt. Col. Terry Lakin, a highly-decorated Army surgeon, with 18-years of service behind him, is willingly throwing his career and reputation away, because be believes in the birther conspiracy nonsense that President Obama is not a natural born citizen. The Army has instituted court martial proceedings against him for refusing to obey deployment orders to Afghanistan, which Lakin says are illegal orders from an illegal alien. The birther doctor appeared on CNN’s Anderson Cooper’s 360 program Friday evening with his lawyer. And the interview soon turn heated, as Cooper attempted to inject some fact-based reality...

The chief elections officer in the state of South Dakota says the issue of President Obama's eligibility to the office is a huge concern among the voters in that state, and he thinks the constitutional qualifications for the office are supremely important to the nation. "I would hope that all Americans would find constitutional qualifications to be an important issue," Chris Nelson told WND today. "I would hope there would not be any questions about the issue." The comments came after Nelson was quoted in a Rapid City newspaper article that poked fun at the issue. Under the headline, "OK,...

Chris Nelson, who's retiring after two terms as South Dakota's secretary of state to challenge Rep. Stephanie Herseth Sandlin (D-S.D.), gets asked by Kevin Woster whether he believes President Obama is a citizen of the United States. Nelson doesn't know. [M]eeting the constitutional qualifications to be President is a very important issue. If President Obama isn’t constitutionally qualified, it would be the biggest scam ever perpetuated on the American people. MANY people contacted me as Secretary of State prior to and after the election asking how Obama could be on our ballot given this controversy. Absent a court finding that...

An interesting theory explaining why Barack Obama does not release his birth certificate says it is not because it would destroy his natural born citizen status, but because the document shows his father was an Arab Muslim. The theory, best explained recently by blogger Hillbuzz, says that Obama’s birth certificate would list his father as “Arab” and not “Black.” “Barack Hussein Obama Sr. was only 1/4 black, and identified himself as a Kenyan Arab,” writes Hillbuzz. “According to how the British would have recorded him in their documents back then, BHO Sr. would have been ‘Arab’.” The theory continues that...
