RFK Jr. Supporters Say They Will Vote for Trump as Poll Show Harris Suffers

Anumber of Robert F. Kennedy Jr. supporters recently said on social media they will vote for Donald Trump if the independent presidential candidate drops out of the 2024 election and endorses the Republican nominee as a new poll found that if Kennedy Jr. leaves the race more of his supporters would lean towards backing the former president than Vice President Kamala Harris.

It follows unconfirmed reports that Kennedy Jr. will withdraw from the White House race and offer Trump his endorsement later today. Kennedy Jr. is due to deliver an "address to the nation" at 2 p.m. ET from Phoenix, Arizona, though when contacted by Newsweek his team said they had "no further details to share" about the event.

Kennedy Jr., meanwhile, has already submitted letters to withdraw from the presidential ballot in Arizona, according to the Associated Press. Trump is also due to hold a rally in Glendale, a suburb of Pheonix, later this evening.

Speculation that Kennedy Jr. could drop out of the race surged after Nicole Shanahan, his running mate, suggested the pair could "walk away right now and join forces with Donald Trump" in a podcast interview released on Tuesday. In response, Trump praised Kennedy Jr. during a CNN interview, calling him a "brilliant guy," and said he would be "open" to offering him a job in a second Trump administration.

A number of self-described Kennedy Jr. supporters on X, formerly Twitter, said they are either open to switching their votes to Trump should the environmental campaigner and vaccine sceptic leave the contest, or had already decided to do so.

That’s what’s gonna happen with her now-voters soon. You can’t stay jacked up on a coke high forever. Gotta come down sometime.

“Very surprising to me.”

Ditto. If anything, the media should be pretending that RFK’s exodus won’t move the needle — or claiming that it will actually help Kamulatto.

It *should* help Trump, but until RFK formally does what we now all expect him to do, there’s still a chance that Lucy F. Kennedy will snatch the football away at the last second and Charlie Brown Trump will land on his ass.

RFK appears to be sincere at this moment, but hold off on counting the unhatched chickens.

I would love to see Robert F. Kennedy Jr as head of the DNI, CIA or FDA.
I don't agree with his self protection policies though. I believe he is an honest person doing what he thinks is right. He would be great for those three jobs.

The DNC has completely sabatoged his campaign and ultimately forced RFK Jr out of the race. It isn’t surprising in the least although how many of his supporters will vote at all is still a big question.

A curious story considering the source.

They might be starting to panic. Or preparing their followers for a Kamala loss?

Meanwhile A LOT of people are pissed off that the Harris campaign LIED last night(what else is knew) about Beyonce appearing..turns out it was a planted lie in order to prevent people from leaving during the cackling hen’s speech..if I were Beyonce Id be DISGUSTED..Trump should run with that today, that all Dems do is LIE and that Beyonce should endorse HIM

In 2016, Jill Stein took votes from Clinton costing her the presidency..and she only brought in what, 1 percent of the vote, RFK Jr brings in at least 5 percent in swing states if all those votes go to Trump he wins

The Harris campaign ‘about nothing’ always seemed iffy to me from the start. Probably be more calls for her to talk to the media and so on.

Impossible, the Slimes is telling us how Trump’s on the ropes. They wouldn’t be lying, would they?

Recent polling suggested he pulled votes from Trump, contrary to what people thought months ago.

What happens with his voters is one thing.

But I think his bigger contribution might be by influencing older democrats who are dubious about the changes in their party.

There is no one in a better position to tell America that the democrats are not the party of the Kennedy’s, Humphrey, or Johnson. Boomers are a big voting block and a combination of Trump’s brand of populism and Kennedy’s rejection of the Democrats might bring more than just his voters to the contest.

And the great thing is that Jill Stein will still be on the ballot. For all the Kennedy folks who refuse to go for Trump, they still have the option to vote Stein. Stein has especially been making a play for the Muslim vote in Michigan, and any big greenies who like RFK’s environmentalism might naturally gravitate her way, not Kamala’s.

You would think but Boomers were surprisingly his worst performing demographic during the campaign. The ones that listen to podcasts and Internet news maybe not but when you are blacklisted by major media it’s an uphill battle. Now everyone will probably wonder why he isn’t the nominee instead of Trump.
