Stated many times thru the years we personally know (and work) with Nielsen ratings people here in L.A. as we need the ratings for our production & studio work. Got confirmation from at least 1 person high up the food chain from Nielsen whom we've known for a very long time that the "39 million" number was BULLCRAP. It was made up just to embarrass Trump's 2016 numbers. The true numbers were 20-24 million TOPS. 39 million are not even close to NFL playoff numbers and for some dementia-ridden child-molester who could not even get 100 people to his rallies,...

Kamala Harris' niece has told how her partner gave up his high-flying tech job in San Francisco to be a stay-at-home father to their two daughters, and free her to write feminist children's books and run her business. Meena Harris, 36, told The Times how Nikolas Ajagu, who she met while working in the tech industry, decided he wanted to be a full-time father to Amara, four, and two-year-old Leela. Ajagu left his job as the Global Head of Partnerships at Facebook to raise their children, she told the paper. It was unclear if he has since returned: his LinkedIn...

At a time when legacy publications are increasingly seen as playing for one political "team" or the other, this type of editorial decision will not do anything to fix that perception.UPDATE: As of 1:15 p.m. on January 22, The Washington Post has updated its website and URLs to restore the original version of the Kamala Harris profile detailed in Reason's post, below. "We should have kept both versions of the story on the Post's site (the original and updated one), rather than redirecting to the updated version," Kris Coratti, the Post's vice president for communications, told Reason in a statement...

The Washington Post scrubbed an unflattering anecdote of Vice President Kamala Harris crassly laughing at the thought of a prisoner begging for a drink of water — then backtracked Friday after an eagle-eyed reporter took notice. Harris made the comments in a July 2019 Washington Post profile about her relationship with her sister and trusted aide, Maya Harris, when the former California prosecutor was running for president. But that story disappeared from the site — with its link redirecting to a newer version published on Jan. 11, sans anecdote.

It would be the irony of ironies (and the cynicism of cynicisms) if, after all the squawking from Pelosi against Trump, she and her Democratic comrades eventually invoked the 25th Amendment on the usurper Biden using some Soviet-style excuse for the move.

Rabbi Michael Beals of Wilmington, Delaware, compared President-elect Joe Biden to Moses leading the Jews out of Egypt — away from “an autocratic, cruel Pharaoh” — in a send-off ceremony on Tuesday afternoon. Beals was invited to give the invocation at the close of the event, marking the Biden family’s departure for the White House.

Former Trump United Nations envoy and former acting Director of National Intelligence Richard Grenell has noted the obvious, that as Democrats try to weaponize political speeches such as President Trump’s January 6 address to followers, they need to be held accountable for their own rhetoric in a year of Antif and BLM-led riots, rriots which they supported, cheered on, even aided and abetted financiall, starting with Vice President-elect Kamala Harris. In a tweet Grenell noted: If @KamalaHarris supported domestic terrorists during the 2020 election then she must be impeached when she takes office. We must not have someone in office...

Vogue stands by the polarizing cover shot of Kamala Harris, 56, for the fashion bible’s Feb issue....of Harris in her own blazer, jeans and black Converse sneakers; the shot was roundly criticized as “insulting” and “a poor representation of [a] woman of color in power.” Anna Wintour, 71, said “it was absolutely not our intention to, in any way, diminish the importance of Harris’ incredible victory.” A different image featuring Harris in a pale blue Michael Kors Collection pantsuit was used for Vogue’s digital cover..... Wintour stated that there was “no formal agreement” about use of the two shots. “We...

A bail fund promoted by Vice President-elect Kamala Harris that reportedly helped bail out several accused and convicted criminals — at least one with a markedly violent history — is refusing to share the records of the individuals it helped spring from jail in the midst of last year's deadly Black Lives Matter-led riots in Minnesota. In June 2020, as violent unrest swept the country in the wake of Minneapolis resident George Floyd's death at the hands of city police, Harris — then two months away from being chosen as Joe Biden's running mate — tweeted out a link to...

Vice President-Elect Kamala Harris’ team has reportedly reached out to American Vogue editors to express their disapproval with the California Senator’s photo featured on the February cover of the print edition. This weekend, Vogue unveiled two covers for its February issue — a print edition cover featuring Harris in sneakers and a digital cover where Harris is wearing a powder blue suit. According to a report by the Associated Press (AP), who spoke to an anonymous source with Harris’ team, Harris’ team was under the impression that the photo of her in the blue suit would be the print edition...

Nicholson/File Photo/Reuters) The Supreme Court has agreed to hear an appeal from two conservative charities that fundraise in California, challenging demands by that state for a list of financial contributors, which the Trump administration argues violates the two tax-exempt groups’ constitutionally protected freedom of association. The appeals concern then-California Attorney General Kamala Harris’s conduct in office. Currently, a U.S. senator representing the Golden State, Harris is scheduled to be sworn in as vice president on Jan. 20. The case is Americans for Prosperity Foundation v. Becerra, and a companion case, Thomas More Law Center v. Becerra, which have been consolidated...

The cover of February's upcoming issue of Vogue, which features Vice-President-elect Kamala Harris, has been widely criticized on social media. Some fans of the future VP are claiming Harris looks washed out in the photo while others say the cover's style doesn’t give her the respect she deserves. And some say it's just plain bad.

U.S.—Kamala Harris chuckles as she tells the story. Not the chuckle of an insincere politician making up a story to appeal to her base, but the chuckle of a warm, loving woman. The kind of chuckle you would chuckle while hanging out with your family or locking up non-violent drug offenders for decades. She recalled in her interview with The Babylon Bee how as a little girl she helped slaves escape to the North on the "undewgwound wailwoad." (Did we mention how warm and sincere she was? It was like talking to your best bud). "My parents were pushing me...

“Most people are other people. Their thoughts are someone else's opinions, their lives a mimicry, their passions a quotation.” – Oscar WildeWhat is it with Democrats and plagiarism? Their ideology appropriated from Marx, their speeches stolen from British parliamentarians, even their anecdotes lifted from people who led more interesting lives… Senator Kamala Harris started her life’s work young. She laughs from her gut, the way you would with family, as she remembers being wheeled through an Oakland, California, civil rights march in a stroller with no straps with her parents and her uncle. At some point, she fell from the...

This young British couple weren’t the only ones to get arrested on Saturday for sharing a hug in London’s Hyde Park. 17 more people were taken into custody for enjoying the afternoon air. Crowds of between 200 to 300 people gathered at the park from around 1.30pm, despite Tier 4 rules banning gatherings of more than two people....

Vice President-elect Kamala Harris on Tuesday publicly took the recently approved coronavirus vaccine. The vice president-elect received her first of two shots of the Moderna COVID-19 vaccine at United Medical Center in the southeast portion of the District of Columbia, in an event that was carried live on all three major national cable news networks. "I want to encourage everyone to get the vaccine. It is relatively painless, it happens really quickly. It is safe," Harris emphasized after receiving her shot.
