Rob Sand, the Democratic gubernatorial nominee in Iowa, had a one-word response to whether Kamala Harris should run for U.S. President in 2028. Harris served as the Vice President from 2021 to 2025 under Joe Biden. Biden endorsed Harris for the 2024 presidential campaign against Donald Trump.
Iowa Democrat believes Kamala Harris shouldn't run for President in 2028
Democratic nominee Rob Sand is not endorsing Kamala Harris for President in 2028. Politico's Jonathan Martin asked him whether Harris should run for President again, to which Sand replied curtly, "Nope."
Sand dodged the previous question when Martin asked him whether he'd want Harris or Joe Biden to campaign for him in Iowa. He simply said, "No thanks. Let's move on. We need some new leadership."
Interestingly, although Harris has not given an official confirmation, she has hinted at the idea of running for President. The former VP previously said at the National Action Network Convention during an interaction with Rev. Al Sharpton, "Listen, I might. I might. I'm thinking about it."
In a previous press interaction, the 61-year-old did not mention Biden as her favourite U.S. president. Harris was asked to rank who she thought were the country's "most effective presidents" at the National Urban League in New York on July 31 by NUL President Marc Morial (via New York Post).

The One Good Thing that Kamala will do, is that she will gut Gavin Newsom like a fish and keep him from getting nominated.
Plus she will probably lose, unless John Thune and the usual band of GOP traitors prevent voter ID and anything else that makes cheating harder.
Harris is damaged goods. There are better and younger Dems available for the job.
