Addie Bullock, communications director for the Amy Acton campaign for governor, issued a statement asserting that "at the Canfield Fair an armed man lunged at Dr, Acton. This kind of violence has no place in Ohio. Dr. Acton will always stand up to the chaos, hate and vitriol that pits us against one another."
Four potential candidates for the Democratic Party's 2028 presidential nomination boldly and bravely condemned political violence.
Sen. Mark Kelly (D-Az) "I just spoke to Amy Acton. She's tough. There's no place in our society for political violence. An issue that unfortunately Gabby and I are very familiar with. Perpetrators of political violence must be brought to justice."
Former Secretary of Transportation and "chest-feeding" parent Pete Buttigieg averred "there is no place for political violence in our country. I'm grateful that Amy is safe. Attacks like this cannot just be the price you pay for running for office. This must never become normal."
Former Vice-President Kamala Harris announced "I am horrified by the attack on Amy Acton in Ohio. Political violence has no place in our nation. People must be safe to participate in our government and electoral process without fear of violence. The hate and division that dominate our political discourse must end."
Sen. Ruben Gallego (D-Ariz.) said "I'm thankful Amy Acton is safe. Political violence should be concerning to all of us, it has no place in our democracy."
The New York Times reported that "Dr. Acton was giving a speech at the Mahoning County Democratic Party tent at a fair in Canfield when an armed man pushed through the crowd, knocking over two elderly audience members, according to the county sheriff, Jerry Greene, and two witnesses. The man did not draw his weapons according to Sheriff Greene and the witnesses. Dr. Acton was not injured."
Sheriff Greene added "we've identified the man as Patrick Havas, an Ohio resident. He carried two firearms in holsters under a valid Ohio concealed-carry permit and never drew either one. He was booked on two counts of misdemeanor assault for knocking over two elderly attendees and one count of disorderly conduct. There is no evidence that he intended to harm or assassinate Dr. Acton. If there were, we wouldn't be charging him with mere misdemeanors."

Democrats’ new “Hire-a-Thug” political strategy could get this gal elected.
Fake News
She was never in any danger at any point...
Watch the video for yourselves...
Armed man lunged at Dr, Acton.
If an armed man had lunged at any Republican, Que Mala and company would be posting his bail. His “activism” would be celebrated.
Was he wearing a noose and screaming “This is MAGA country?”
You are quite right...Not anywhere near her. One big phony advertisement.
Where were these folks speaking up when Trump survived 3-4 attempts?
