Federal investigators on Wednesday found no documents with classified markings during a search of President Biden’s Rehoboth Beach, Del., home, his attorney said in a statement.

Florida cops who publicly insisted they had eyes on Brian Laundrie amid the Gabby Petito investigation have admitted they actually mistook him — for his mother. “They are built kind of similarly,” North Port Police Department spokesperson Josh Taylor told WINK on Monday regarding the huge blunder in a case that sparked national attention. Police had set up around-the-clock surveillance last month outside the North Port home where Laundrie lived with his parents after the 23-year-old was named the sole person of interest in his girlfriend’s disappearance.

Two more former aides to Gov. Scott Walker have been charged with crimes linked to political fundraising while working on county time in the ongoing John Doe investigation. Both worked for Walker while he was serving as Milwaukee County Executive, and both are accused of fundraising activities while at their taxpayer-funded day jobs. Milwaukee County District Attorney John Chisholm said Thursday that Kelly Rindfleisch, the former deputy chief of staff for Walker, also worked as a fundraiser for then lieutenant governor candidate Brett Davis. Even many of her most ardent admirers no longer dispute that Sarah Six Pack is, shall we say, incurious. What's striking is how little that seems to matter. A McCain spokeswoman suggested before the vice presidential debate that it would be unfair to question Palin, "a woman who could be president," too closely on foreign policy. And when thinking conservatives (remember when the adjective was not necessary?) like Kathleen Parker and David Brooks declared Palin unfit for office, they were shouted down by their ideological brethren.
