The University of New Mexico Health Sciences Center announced its plans to cut ties with a late-term abortion clinic last week. The Albuquerque Journal reports that medical student fellows and residents will no longer be trained at the Southwestern Women’s Options, a late-term abortion facility run by Curtis Boyd. The university also is considering ending Boyd’s position as a volunteer faculty member, the report states.
