Wall Street Journal editor Dorothy Rabinowitz yukked yesterday that if you want to extract information from terrorist detainees, skip the waterboarding or the hours of Black Sabbath and just make them listen to Hillary Clinton. “This is a person who is difficult to listen to,” Rabinowitz said on WSJ’s Saturday afternoon Fox show. (It does too exist.) “I used to think that if you wanted to extract information from terrorists, all you have to do is put them in the room with Hillary Clinton and force them to listen to her speech. They’ll tell you everything after that.”

Where was the bell when he needed it? ADVERTISEMENT Dustin Diamond, the irrepressible Samuel "Screech" Powers of Saved by the Bell fame, says he and a female fan got into a dust-up in an Omaha, Nebraska, hotel room that resulted in her trying to mug him. The erstwhile tube geek, in town performing at the Funny Bone comedy club, says the unidentified fan attended his sold-out Sunday night gig and, in the wee hours of Monday, accosted him at his hotel room before trying to make off with his precious PSP videogames. Here is how a well-known law journal summed up his views on minorities and women: "Alito has a disturbing record in cases involving discrimination based on race, disability and gender. Under his judicial philosophy, victims would face near-impossible burdens to..." The AP reported today that Alito was going to the Capitol Rotunda with...

I just finished reading another amazing novel by Dean Koontz, "Cold Fire". The afterword ... is hilarious: "Then, as is often the case when life is good, someone said, 'Hey, let's make a movie!' and life got strange, dark, and scary. "By this I do not mean to imply - although I can't stop you from inferring - that a lot of movie-industry executives are as brainless, voracious, and destructive as the flesh-eating bacteria ... I've met smart, fair, creative executives over the years...although I've noticed their kind either eventually get fired," (NOTE TO SELF: KELLY GOODE!!!) ... He goes...

I pick up a copy of the NY Times yesterday, and read an arts brief with the headline "Diversity Still a Problem For Hollywood Writers." ... A few minutes after reading this story, I get a call from my TV agent at ICM, telling me that the new management of Lifetime is not very interested in The Dirty Girls Social Club TV show. That, in fact, they wanted to "kill" it immediately, but that they are willing to listen to a re-pitch. That means that even though Lifetime owns the option for now (meaning I can't do anything with it)...

His name is Screech, but he doesn't utter a sound, at least not yet. He was hatched yesterday at Robert F. Kennedy Memorial Stadium, emerging from a giant egg a few yards behind second base shortly before the Washington Nationals took the field against the Arizona Diamondbacks.

Members of the Democratic National Committee’s (DNC) Black Caucus have become seemingly desensitized to racial slurs. The Caucus did not even blink when the extreme Left’s new champion, Howard Dean, made prejudiced statements right before their very eyes. From Dean’s comments, it seems he believes that a Black person’s place is to be cleaning toilets at a hotel in which whites stay. According to the Washington Times, On Feb. 11, the day before he was elected party chief, Mr. Dean asked, at a meeting of the DNC Black Caucus, "You think the Republican National Committee could get this many people...
