When Justice Antonin Scalia died 11 days ago at a West Texas ranch, he was among high-ranking members of an exclusive fraternity for hunters called the International Order of St. Hubertus, an Austrian society that dates back to the 1600s. After Scalia's death Feb. 13, the names of the 35 other guests at the remote resort, along with details about Scalia's connection to the hunters, have remained largely unknown. A review of public records shows that some of the men who were with Scalia at the ranch are connected through the International Order of St. Hubertus, whose members gathered at...

02/25/2016 AT 06:05 PM EST This was no ordinary hunting trip. When Supreme Court Justice Antonin Scalia was found dead at a West Texas ranch on Feb. 13, he was on a getaway with high-ranking members of an elite hunting fraternity whose origins date back to 1695.

There being disjointed and scant details regarding the events surrounding the death of Justice Scalia, I've gathered information from various reports and assembled it here. DALLAS (AP) -- A letter from the Supreme Court's doctor says Antonin Scalia suffered from coronary artery disease, obesity and diabetes, among other ailments that probably contributed to the justice's sudden death. Presidio County District Attorney Rod Ponton cited the letter Tuesday, when he told The Associated Press there was nothing suspicious about the Feb. 13 death of the 79-year-old jurist. He said the long list of health problems made an autopsy unnecessary.

It came as no surprise to me that Justice Scalia, found cold and pulseless in bed with a pillow "over his head," was declared dead of natural causes without an autopsy being performed. I was not shocked to hear that a county justice of the peace agreed to issue the death certificate without visiting the death scene or seeing the body for herself. Justice Antonin Scalia's sudden death over the weekend at a West Texas ranch raised questions about the nature of his travel, who paid for the trip and whether justices are subject to the same disclosure guidelines as other judges or federal officials. Where did Justice Scalia die? Scalia was at the Cibolo Creek Ranch, a resort tucked away in the Big Bend region of Texas about 30 miles from the border with Mexico. The ranch is 30,000-acre getaway that is home to John B. Poindexter, according to the website of J.B. Poindexter & Co. ... One of Poindexter's companies was...

No, of course he wasn't murdered. What're you, nuts? But the question perfectly represents the disconnect between the grave stakes of the upcoming election and the frivolous level of our current political discourse.Bully McMeathead -- I mean Donald Trump -- actually entertained the notion that Scalia died by foul play while speaking with radio talk show host Michael Savage recently. "They say they found a pillow on his face, which is a pretty unusual place to find a pillow," opined Wussy McRichboy -- I mean Trump. And all right, I'll cut the combover clown some slack on this one....

It was only a matter of time. Donald Trump joined Michael Savage’s Tuesday radio show to talk about Antonin Scalia, and the result was . . . exactly what you’d expect: SAVAGE: Donald, I need to come back to the topic we’ve all been screaming about here, which is Scalia, was he murdered. I know it’s pretty brutal to say that, and I’m not wanting to drag you into this, but this is going to be bigger and bigger and bigger. I went on the air and said we need the equivalent of a Warren Commission, we need an immediate...

Was Justice Scalia murdered? Forget "conspiracy theory." This is real. Let's jump right in with quotes from the Washington Post, 2/15, Conspiracy theories swirl around the death of Antonin Scalia. The Post published extraordinary statements from the Facebook page of "William O. Ritchie, former head of criminal investigations for D.C. police": "As a former homicide commander, I am stunned that no autopsy was ordered for Justice Scalia." "You have a Supreme Court Justice who died, not in attendance of a physician. You have a non-homicide trained US Marshal tell the justice of peace that no foul play was observed. You...

Okay everybody, Scalia's death. Let's start it from another point of view. Let's say, God forbid, it's the most extremist justice, Ruth Bader Ginsburg, who never should have been appointed, she was a former head of the ACLU, yet she was ushered in by the Republican RINO's who have destroyed America. Let's say, even though she's been sick with cancer for over 10 years, suddenly she goes to a remote resort in Texas, she eschews Secret Service, and she goes to sleep saying I'm tired at 9:00, she's found fully clothed in the morning with her pajamas on without a...

"Supreme Court Justice Antonin Scalia would be found dead of apparent natural causes. Presidio County Judge Cinderela Guevara acknowledged that she pronounced Scalia dead by phone, without seeing his body. We discovered the judge in bed, a pillow over his head. His bed clothes were unwrinkled," said Poindexter. A pillow over his head does not sound like natural. And who pronounces a Supreme Court Justice dead over the phone. Or anyone, for that matter.

"It wasn't a heart attack," Guevara said. "He died of natural causes."

MARFA, Texas -- United States Supreme Court Justice Antonin Scalia's heart stopped beating during his sleep, Presidio County Judge Cinderela Guevara told WFAA on Sunday. Guevara officially pronounced him dead at 1:52 p.m. on Saturday. She will be the local official who signs his death certificate. Hours earlier, the county judge told WFAA that myocardial infarction -- or a heart attack -- would likely be the cause of death listed. Guevara later said she would confer with the Justice's personal physician on what specifically to show as the cause of death....

"We discovered the judge in bed, a pillow over his head. His bed clothes were unwrinkled," said Poindexter. "He was lying very restfully. It looked like he had not quite awakened from a nap," he said. Scalia,79, did not have a pulse and his body was cold, and after consulting with a doctor at a hospital in Alpine, Poindexter concluded resuscitation would have been futile, He then contacted federal authorities, at first encountering a series of answering services because he was calling on a weekend.

WASHINGTON – The seemingly quick conclusion that Supreme Court Justice Antonin Scalia died of “natural causes†this weekend is prompting calls for an autopsy and toxicological reports by activists and across social media platforms. William Gheen, president of the Americans for Legal Immigration political action committee, noted the media’s “rush†to proclaim Scalia’s death in a rented room in a resort in Texas as either “natural causes†or heart attack within hours of the discovery of his body. “Anytime a head of state, member of Congress, or the most conservative member of the U.S. Supreme Court is found dead, an...

... I was reporting from a candidate forum in neighboring Brewster County. Officials from all three counties were in attendance. David Beebe, the justice of the peace for Precinct 1 in Presidio County, was there, too. Shortly after 1 p.m., he received a request to handle an inquest for "a dead body" back in his county. The call came from Juanita Bishop, the justice of the peace for Precinct 2, who is nominally closer, but she was at a work-related event more than 120 miles away in Fort Stockton. Beebe responded he was also far away, too, busy at the...

According to the official story, Judge Antonin Scalia was found dead in his bed this weekend while a guest at the Cibolo Creek Ranch in West Texas. A first-time guest to the Cibolo Creek Creek Ranch, U.S. Supreme Court Justice Antonin Scalia was animated and engaged during dinner Friday night, as one of three dozen invitees to an event that had nothing to do with law or politics, according to the ranch owner. Just hours later, he would be found dead of “apparent natural causes,†which media outlets were reporting Sunday was a heart attack. “He was seated near me...
