It came as no surprise to me that Justice Scalia, found cold and pulseless in bed with a pillow "over his head," was declared dead of natural causes without an autopsy being performed. I was not shocked to hear that a county justice of the peace agreed to issue the death certificate without visiting the death scene or seeing the body for herself.

I agree. This much ado about nothing. Those that see a murder conspiracy here would probably not accept the autopsy results anyway. If they think a murderer would leave a pillow over a victim’s head they would also likely believe an autopsy was rigged.

It didn’t say the pillow was over his face. It said over his head. When found he was described as looking peaceful in full repose.

I agree. Seems to be a few Freepers that abuse anyone that wants an actual investigation of the unexpected death of a man that was one of the main obstacles to a bloodthirsty regime imposing complete tyranny on the Republic.
The lack of autopsy and hysterical responses against those asking for one indicate of a society too afraid of the evil truth, even if it did not occur there. From avoiding the reality that Obama is not a legal leader to things like this, America seem ready to sacrifice integrity for temporary stability
If soetoro had dismissed the Secret Service and gone to a remote Hawaiian resort owned by a Republican, along with 35 unnamed guests and turned up dead do you think the left would say "Hard drugs and gay sex will do that" and let it go with no investigation?

This politically loaded a death, with a big Obama donor as the “host” and key actor and getting the autopsy that otherwise would/should have been done in Texas, given the circumstances, to be bypassed just ripens the whole situation to conspiracy theories.

We have no special claim on Scalia regardless of what you think. The family decides unless there is obvious sign of foul plsy
