Justice Scalia spent his last hours with members of this secretive society of elite hunters

When Justice Antonin Scalia died 11 days ago at a West Texas ranch, he was among high-ranking members of an exclusive fraternity for hunters called the International Order of St. Hubertus, an Austrian society that dates back to the 1600s.

After Scalia's death Feb. 13, the names of the 35 other guests at the remote resort, along with details about Scalia's connection to the hunters, have remained largely unknown. A review of public records shows that some of the men who were with Scalia at the ranch are connected through the International Order of St. Hubertus, whose members gathered at least once before at the same ranch for a celebratory weekend.

Members of the worldwide, male-only society wear dark green robes emblazoned with a large cross and the motto "Deum Diligite Animalia Diligentes," which means "Honoring God by honoring His creatures," according to the group's website. Some hold titles, such as Grand Master, Prior and Knight Grand Officer. The Order's name is in honor of Hubert, the patron saint of hunters and fishermen. ...

Cibolo Creek Ranch owner John Poindexter and C. Allen Foster, a prominent Washington attorney who traveled to the ranch with Scalia by private plane, hold leadership positions within the Order. It is unclear what, if any, official association Scalia had with the group. ... The society's U.S. chapter launched in 1966 at the famous Bohemian Club in San Francisco, which is associated with the all-male Bohemian Grove - one of the most notorious secret societies in the country.

If there is one patch of ground that deserves a ground zero thermonuclear test it is bohemian grove during their little “event” in the summer.

These people we send to represent us should be tried for treason should they ever join ANY secret society.

Perhaps an adaptation of “The Most Dangerous Game”.

You have a problem with the Masons? I am not one but know many fine men who are.

The full length film from Alex Jones from inside(?) the place. I watched parts of it years ago, I can’t recall if it was just from nearby, or if they did get in.

I think it is a bit like the “He-Man Woman Haters Club” or the “No Homers Club” or the “Stone Cutters”. Guys sort of want to have their exclusive clubs.

Still I think some of them are up to no good and I do not like what I have seen of the Bohemian Grove despite the fact that the great Ronald Reagan was a member.

Over-react much?

This sounds like the hunt club meets the Knights of Columbus, but I suppose you’d want them nuked too. Harmless.

Even Ted Cruz had his “secret army”.

Is there one official in government that actually represents average humans? I’m pretty sure George Soros has a micropenis like Hitler. Just thought I’d throw that out there.

So secret societies do exist. This one seems harmless (except for Scalia’s death.) Probably nothing, but it sure would of been prudent to do an autopsy.

I know and have known some great guys who were Masons including some Uncles. I think some of America’s early patriots were also Masons.

Overall tho I am not a fan of them. I do think they have every right to be members etc.

Evidently, a lot of our leaders have been members of the Bohemian Grove, including Bush Sr, Ronald Reagan, Colin Powers, etc.

I have heard stories about this club for some time. I used to dismiss them as nuts, but I just don’t know anymore. Maybe part of the club is innocent and other parts hide behind the secrecy.

I hadn’t heard anything about this elite secretive hunting club before, but did find it interesting that the American chapter launched at the Bohemian Club.

It's a shame one of them didn't hold the title of "Doctor".

For a "secret society" with little known about its members, it sure is odd to have a website with photographs.

So secret societies do exist.

Not really.

There is not much secret about this group including their member list.

But some people see "members only club" and begin to have visions of high school dance in their heads.

Anytime large groups of policy makers meet in secret is an opportunity for treason to thrive.
