BUNIA, Congo (AP) — Angry residents of a town at the epicenter of the Ebola outbreak in eastern Congo attacked and burned a tent that was part of a health center where people are being treated for the virus, the staff there said Saturday. It was the second such attack in the region in a week. No one was hurt in the attack, according to initial reports but as patients ran out to escape the fire, 18 people with suspected Ebola infections left the facility and are now unaccounted for, a local hospital director said.

Former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton criticized President Donald Trump on Monday after his administration announced a $1.776 billion fund to compensate people who say they were wrongly targeted by federal investigations, saying the move goes beyond Trump's pardons of supporters convicted in the Jan. 6, 2021, Capitol attack. Three people have died and 19 others were rushed to hospital after coming into contact with an unknown substance. Authorities were called to a home in Mountainair, New Mexico, on Wednesday to a suspected overdose involving an unidentified substance. According to New Mexico State Police, they arrived to find four people unresponsive inside the home, with three of them having since died. Officials said that during their response 18 first responders were exposed to the substance and transported to hospital. An illegal immigrant truck driver was arrested Tuesday after allegedly causing a deadly multi-vehicle crash in California and attempting to flee the scene, federal officials said. The undocumented immigrant from India, Manvir Singh, instantly killed two people near Lodi, the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) alleged.
