A few weekends ago I posted a vanity asking for recommendations about shaving alternatives to typical disposable razors, such as from Gillette or Bic.Thank you for all your recommendations. Today, I’d like to share the results of my new shaving experience. This comes after two and a half weeks and two double edge razor blades of experience.Initial RequirementsI wanted a good close shave, using an inexpensive, non-woke American made product. I am pleased to say, I am now fully suffering from toxic masculinity. Gillette, you can shove your razors where the sun doesn’t shine. Hopefully those blades will be jagged...

Gillette shocked millions of viewers worldwide with their ‘We Believe: The Best Men Can Be’ commercial. The advert looks back to the brand’s ‘The Best A Man Can Get’ commercial from way back in 1989, rephrasing its tagline to ask the question: Can men do better? Touching on topics such as the #MeToo movement, the male gaze, the media’s portrayal of women and gender stereotypes, the ad encourages the audience to embrace a new age and suggests that men should hold themselves accountable for toxic masculinity. Aptly, the orchestral track amplifies the serious tone of the ad and underlines the...

As the website says under their story tab, "Harry's (Razors) and Daily Wire had a deal. They paid us. We advertised their razors. We did this for years, with the clear understanding that Harry's can leave at any time, for any reason. But after they left us for saying that boys are boys and girls are girls, it was too much for them ... They said the views you hear on our programs -- whether you agree with them or not -- are 'inexcusable,' and dropped their ads on our network due to 'misaligned values.' They tried to shame you...

This is about 6 months old but I just found out about it! Now I need a new razor company because DSC is also woke and gave $100K to BLM. Is Solimo (Amazon) woke? On Tuesday, The Daily Wire announced the launch of “Jeremy’s Razors,” which is “more than a men’s grooming line. Jeremy’s Razors is a message to woke corporations that hate half the country, but love to take their money: your customers have the power to choose, and they’re not afraid to do so.” Backed by a multi-million dollar advertising campaign, the company released its first Jeremy’s Razors...

Today’s case in point is the bizarre incident involving a self-proclaimed “future college student,” this person’s Twitter account consisting of two followers when the complaint was tweeted (it’s up to 11 followers as of this writing), a 2019 segment from a Candace Owens show on which Michael Knowles appeared, and Harry’s Razors. The future college student apparently took some time to find a video clip it deemed offensive, then looked for the companies that only later advertised on one of the participants’ shows, and then tweeted to Harry’s Razors about the 2019 video’s supposed offense. Avi Das notified Harry's Razors:...

The Gillette-Schick duopoly better watch out for Dollar Shave Club and Harry’s, which promise more convenience and less cost to do what men hate most in the morning.Don’t look now, bros but your morning routine is getting disrupted—in a good way. While stubble, beards, and moustaches may be in vogue everywhere, lots and lots of men feel like they have to shave every day—or at least every other day. Which means they are subject to an industry dominated by a few big players who are quite set in their ways. For more than a century, the shaving market has been...

"Your stupid boycotts will never make a dent in a company like P&G," one liberal scoffed back in January. Turns out, they didn't just make a dent. After a string of male-bashing, transgender shaving ads, the parent company of Gillette got nicked so badly, market experts wonder if the brand will survive. Gillette's CEO insists the radical activism was "worth the price." Let's hope so -- because so far, that price is a whopping $8 billion dollars. To most customers, a razor company dabbling in gender politics never made sense in the first place. Gillette used to be "the best...

In January Proctor & Gamble and Gillette decided to run razor ads trashing men and “toxic” masculinity in a courageous ad campaign. The company decided the best way to promote their product was to attack their customer base. The new ad highlighted sexist and bullying white males in the United States. Of the 43 abusive males in the ad – 42 were white. 7 of the hero men out of 8 in the ad were black. The ad did not do so well. Many users promised to avoid the product. The ad had 642,000 down votes after its first two...

P&G Brand Director Pankaj Bhalla tells Ad Age its goal was to provoke conversation, so Gillette no doubt expected polarization. And this is, after all, an era when brands increasingly take a stand on social issues, as Nike did with a ballsy campaign that sided with Colin Kaepernick on the issue of NFL players kneeling during the national anthem. But there's one glaring difference between Nike and Gillette: Nike's primary customers are young urban millennials who support brands that stand up for causes and tend to sympathize with Kaepernick's protest. Many of the customers for Gillette, a 117-year-old brand, are...

A Gillette advert which references bullying, the #MeToo movement and toxic masculinity has split opinion online. The razor company's short film, called Believe, plays on their famous tagline "The best a man can get", replacing it with "The best men can be". The company says it wants men to hold each other "accountable". Some have praised its message, which aims to update the company's previous message about masculinity, but others say Gillette is now "dead" to them. It currently has 23,000 likes and 214,000 dislikes, at time of writing - and it's increasing all the time.

Shaving supply company Gillette is trying to change cultural norms with a new ad campaign aimed at men challenging them to “shave their toxic masculinity.” The ad, called “We Believe,” kicks off with a flurry of news about #MeToo, bullying, and masculine behavior, while showing various men saying “Boys will be boys.” https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=koPmuEyP3a0

Tired of paying through the nose for "Gimmick" razors with 2&3 blades that do nothing but clog. Looking into a Ole'fashioned Double edge and have seen a few on E Bay and the bald guy from Pawn Stars latest addition at Walgreens for 20 bucks. Never did electric. Wish I kept my 1st Gillette. Any thoughts?

State police report a shopper at Walmart loaded a cart with $3,500 worth of disposable razors Sunday evening, pushed it through a fire exit door and fled in a car with a burned-out headlight.

Razors are expensive and get dull way too quick and I started to think about a way to make them last much longer. When we shave, we are not only cutting the bristle but we are also getting oils and dead skin on the blade. This lead me to thinking what would clean the blades from this stuff. So I stared experimenting and came up the perfect solution...91% Isopropyl Alcohol. I put some in container which I could put a lid on to eliminate evaporation. Then I used an old blade which I was about to throw away and vigorously...

The first new razor from Procter & Gamble’s Gillette division in four years - the Fusion ProGlide - hits U.S. store shelves today. For two months, the company has been teasing the release with a TV ad campaign that shows the evolution of its razors and today’s date and said, “See what’s next.” The Fusion ProGlide will be Gillette’s top-of-the-line razor for men with the battery-operated power model retailing for $12.99 and replacement blades going for a 15 percent premium over the current cost for Fusion blades.

TEHRAN (AFP) - Iran has launched a major campaign urging consumers to stop buying "Zionist" products, ranging from Coca-Cola and Pepsi soft drinks, to Calvin Klein clothing and Nestle food products. "Pepsi stands for 'Pay Each Penny to Save Israel", viewers in the Islamic republic have been warned in an oft-repeated three-minute infomercial on state television, prompted by Israel's ongoing assault against the Palestinian territories and Lebanon. "Zionists are the biggest shareholders in the soft drinks industry, and each year they make billions of dollars for their colonialist aims," consumers with a thirst for fizz have been told. Coca-Cola is...

Many societies have embraced an element of the Left's social scheme of glamorizing, enabling and assisting people with their own victimization--providing needles to drug addicts ostensibly to make the practice of slow suicide by drug addiction "safer." From AIDS, that is. Never mind stopping them. Never mind stigmatizing the scourge of drug addiction and the damage it does to families and society. Nope, let's give up, embrace the addicts and help them along. Well, once society abdicates its moral responsibility to stop people from harming themselves to assisting them in their hell, the slippery slope coughs up the next step....

Having become the world's most popular razor since its 1998 debut, the Gillette Mach 3 obviously provides a superior shaving experience. Featuring three independently suspended blades, the razor was designed to provide closer shaves with less irritation than its competitors. Yet the Mach 3 caused plenty of irritation this week at the Democratic National Convention in Boston. The razors were included in about 30,000 gift bags distributed to delegates, dignitaries and the media. The bags also contained such convention essentials as subway maps, dried cranberry snacks and donkey-shaped macaroni and cheese. Problems arose when a number of people attempted to...

Mideast men with 'razors' yanked off American jet 9/11-like scare rattles crew on flight bound for Los Angeles from Dulles WASHINGTON – In a Sept. 11 flashback, two Middle Eastern men were removed from an American Airlines flight here to Los Angeles after "razors" and thousands of dollars in cash were found in one of their carry-on bags, the airline confirmed today. The incident occurred Saturday at Washington Dulles International Airport, from where Middle Eastern men with box cutters in 2001 hijacked an American flight to Los Angeles, took control of the plane and slammed it into the Pentagon. The...
