Following the arrival of the all-new Ford Ranger in several international markets, the redesigned pickup debuted for North America way back in May 2023. *snip* In January, a grand total of 2,644 2024 Ford Ranger pickups were built at MAP, which represented an increase of 2,242 units, or 558 percent, compared to December 2023. That number grew to 2,871 units in February – an increase of 227 units, or around 8.6 percent. More surprising, Ford sold precisely zero Rangers last month, meaning that the supply of 2023 models seems to be depleted, and there simply aren’t any new 2024 models...

A transgender cheerleader was kicked out of a Texas college cheer camp after she allegedly attacked a teammate who called her a 'man with a penis'. Averie Chanel Medlock, 25, was booted from the Ranger College cheerleading camp in Texas, and given a criminal assault by physical contact citation last week. She is accused of choking a teammate, only identified by her first name, Karleigh, who she claimed made transphobic remarks toward her. The girl and other teammates allegedly locked themselves in a locker room to hide from the raging Medlock, who claimed that she was being targeted for her...

The moving goodbye letter a murdered ISIS hostage wrote to his parents has been read at the trial of the terror suspect accused of masterminding his abduction. Peter Kassig wrote the final letter to his parents Ed and Paula five months before he was beheaded by Jihadi John in November 2014, and revealed that he did not believe his captors' claims that his family had given up on him. It was read at the trial of El Shafee Elsheikh, 33, Wednesday by Peter's retired teacher dad Edward Kassig, who struggled to hold back tears, as Kassig's mom Paula, a former...

One hundred women have graduated from the U.S. Army’s esteemed Ranger School as of Friday, Task & Purpose has learned. “The Airborne and Ranger Training Brigade confirmed that the 100th woman graduated the course with Ranger Class 03-22,” said Col. Antwan L. Dunmyer, Commander of the Airborne and Ranger Training Brigade at Fort Benning, Georgia. “She was the only woman to graduate with that class.”..... The first women graduated Ranger School in August 2015, and since then women have continued breaking barriers. Capt. Kristen Griest, one of the very first women to earn the Ranger tab, became the first female...

Veteran’s Day is here and descendants of World War II Rangers are working to have a Congressional Gold Medal awarded to them. Of 16 million American military in World War II, just 7,000 were Rangers who spearheaded multiple invasions from Africa to D-Day Normandy. Today, only 19 of those Rangers are living. The U.S. Senate has already passed bipartisan legislation that will award the medal. HR3577 will do the same in the House if it gains sufficient co-sponsors. Sen. Jerry Moran was a co-sponsor on the Senate bill, but as of yet, only Congressman Tracey Mann — one of four...

On Thursday afternoon, September 30, at 3:45 PM Eastern, the 40 to 60 agents from the FBI, DOJ and local police raided retired Army Ranger Jeremy Brown’s home and arrested Jeremy in Florida. The charge was misdemanor trespassing from an event he attended 10 months earlier. We were notified by his family and an attorney following the raid. The FBI searched Jeremy’s home, RV, and trailer. And then they arrested Jeremy and took him away. His family contacted The Gateway Pundit the next morning. Jeremy Brown NEVER entered the US Capitol on January 6. His crime was refusing to be...

National Review covered Salon’s hit piece on Sen. Tom Cotton (R-AK), which tried to accuse him of lying about his military record. But there’s a small part in the National Review article that should drive everyone mad. At Salon, Roger Sollenberger claimed that completing Ranger School does not make one an actual Ranger. He also insisted that the military agrees with him. I emphasized the important part: In his first run for Congress, Cotton leaned heavily on his military service, claiming to have been “a U.S. Army Ranger in Iraq and Afghanistan,” and, in a campaign ad, to have “volunteered...

An American soldier who helped rescue about 70 hostages set to be executed by Islamic State militants in Iraq has been approved to receive the Medal of Honor for actions during a daring 2015 raid, The Associated Press has learned. Sgt. Maj. Thomas “Patrick” Payne, a Ranger assigned to the U.S. Army’s Special Operations Command, will receive the U.S. military’s highest honor for valor in combat in a White House ceremony set to be held on the 19th anniversary of the Sept. 11, 2001 attacks. The medal approval was confirmed by two Defense Department officials who spoke on condition of...

MSNBC host Nicolle Wallace on Tuesday blasted right-wing commentators who have questioned National Security Council official Lt. Col. Alexander Vindman’s loyalty, calling such pundits “chickenshit.” After it was reported that Vindman would testify to Congress that he twice raised concerns to his superiors over President Trump’s infamous July call to the Ukrainian president, Fox News hosts Laura Ingraham and Brian Kilmeade, ex-Bush Administration official John Yoo, and CNN contributor Sean Duffy all suggested Vindman was a Ukrainian double agent. After playing a clip of Yoo claiming “some people might call [Vindman’s actions] espionage,” Wallace railed: “Except those people aren’t chickenshit...

Is that really all there is? – Some low-level flunky in the U.S. diplomatic corps claims to have been “concerned” about the July 25 call between U.S. President Donald Trump and Ukraine President Volodymyr Zelensky, and therefore we are supposed to support the Democrats’ ongoing impeachment circus? Yeaaaahhhhhh….no. Not buying any of it. Sorry. God bless Mr. Vindman for his military service, but can we please get him out of our diplomatic service? Because, obviously his feelings are far too fragile to be a part of that difficult line of work. Literally, the only thing Vindman said in his opening...

Top Democrats at the deposition of Lt. Col. Alexander Vindman, the top Ukraine expert on the National Security Council, said his testimony Tuesday was “extremely disturbing” and praised him for appearing despite attacks from the White House. Acting House Oversight Chairwoman Carolyn Maloney, D-N.Y, told NBC News she found Vindman’s remarks “extremely, extremely, extremely disturbing” as she left the deposition. Maloney refused to answer any other questions about Vindman’s testimony. Vindman, appearing voluntarily under congressional subpoena, was set to tell members of Congress conducting an impeachment inquiry of President Donald Trump that he was on the phone call between Trump...

Soldiers Complete Army's Toughest Schools after 40 A weapons expert with 1st Special Forces Group (Airborne), Master Sgt. Jole Alvarez had completed some of the most challenging courses the Army has to offer, but Ranger School eluded him for two decades. He'd been slated to attend in 1999, but instead was sent to Combat Diver Qualification Course first. Then the 9/11 attacks kicked off years of high operations tempo that kept him posted overseas or deployed much of the time since. But, late last year, he got his chance. "They called me 'Old Man Jole' or 'The Old Man,'" Alvarez...

Ford has officially announced the 2019 Ford Ranger, the long-awaited return of this midsize truck. From 1983 to 2011, the Ranger was one of the most popular pickups on the road. It disappeared as the car companies moved more and more toward oversized trucks, leaving a big fan base pining for the return of the Ranger ever since. The success of the Chevy Colorado has been a barometer for the mid-size truck market, and sales are up 83 percent since 2014. Now Ford is banking on the new Ranger as a Chevy rival and a solid alternative to its best-selling...

Former Army Ranger Alejandro Villanueva was the ONLY Steeler to come out for the National Anthem on Sunday. He stood in the tunnel while the rest of the team hid in the locker room like disrespectful cowards. Villanueva stood with his hand over his heart and sang along with pride during the National Anthem. The 28-year-old former Army Ranger is a bronze star recipient and served three tours in Afghanistan. Steelers coach Mike Tomlin said he noticed Villanueva during a preseason game because of the way he stood during the National Anthem, according to an article in NFL.com. Imagine being...

The Ford Ranger has returned. Just a few weeks after the automaker confirmed it’s bringing back the small pickup model in 2019, a prototype has been spotted undergoing testing on public roads in Michigan. The body of the camouflaged truck appears to be identical to the one on the Ranger that Ford currently builds and sells in other countries, which Ford is basing the new Michigan-made Ranger on.

A 60-year-old Tennessee man who spends time volunteering as Santa Claus at a local hospital granted a 5-year-old terminally ill boy his final wish this holiday season, and held him as he died in his arms. “I spent four years in the Army with the 75th Rangers, and I’ve seen my share of [stuff],” Eric Schmitt-Matzen told USA Today. “But I ran by the nurses’ station bawling my head off. I know nurses and doctors see things like that every day, but I don’t know how they can take it.”

Sources inside Congressman Steve Russell’s (R., OK) office informed US Defense Watch this week that the Congressman had received no new information from the US Army concerning his request for the records of the three female Ranger School graduates, Captain Griest, First Lieutenant Haver and Major Jaster, the so-called Mommy Ranger. Seven months later and the US Army and the Pentagon are still refusing to turn over the Ranger School records of the three female graduates. For those who haven’t followed the story, here’s a summary of the events leading up to the present time. Captain Kristen Griest and First...

I'm a big fan of the Ford Ranger truck. Back in 2011 Ford unwisely discontinued Ranger production in the United States. But recently the Internet has been filled with stories about the Ranger coming back to the US in 2016. The official Ford site is silent about this. So today I called a nearby Ford dearship. Forget about it, they said, the Ranger is not coming back to the US. Maybe that's true, maybe they just want to sell me a F150 today. So does anybody here know the inside scoop on the Ranger?

Maj. Gen. Scott Miller’s voice held frustration late Friday afternoon during a quickly arranged media roundtable on the fourth floor of McGinnis-Wickam Hall, headquarters of the Army’s Maneuver Center of Excellence. The commanding general of Fort Benning has been fighting allegations for months that female soldiers were given special treatment to pass Ranger School, the most physically and mentally demanding training offered by the Army. Four hours after the third woman graduated, Miller sat front and center with Command Sgt. Maj. Timothy Metheny to his right and four members of the Airborne and Ranger Training Brigade, including the commander, Col....
