For many Americans, pudding is a nostalgic dessert or after-school snack. Although, what we call pudding doesn't align with the rest of the world. Closer to what the British (who technically brought the term to the United States) would call a custard, American pudding is a creamy, chilled custard dessert often flavored with chocolate or tapioca. And more often than not you associate the warm memories of that cold dessert with a brand name on the package 1. Kozy Shack

"I haven't had chocolate smooshsmosh since Otto von Bismarck made his trek across the Delaware and another thing why are the lights in here so bright and where's Dorothy with my whacking stick…." Senator Mitch McConnell was seen padding toward the cafeteria with a sparkle in his eye after hearing...

Arizona Independent Sen. Kyrsten Sinema attacked the White House on Sunday for doing nothing regarding the border crisis despite having two years to plan for the Title 42 mandate to expire. The pandemic-era policy, which originally allowed the U.S. to expel certain migrants as a health mandate, is set to expire on Thursday. Even with the policy in place, the Biden administration has faced record levels of illegal border crossing since taking office in Jan. 2021. "Face the Nation" host Margaret Brennan spoke with Sinema on the border crisis as well as her proposed bill to continue a similar policy...

A Trump-aligned super PAC is hitting Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis for sticking his “dirty fingers” into entitlement programs for senior citizens — and allegedly using them to eat pudding as well, according to a stomach-churning ad released Friday. “Ron DeSantis loves sticking his fingers where they don’t belong, and we’re not just talking about pudding,” the ad’s narrator says, referring to an alleged 2019 incident where the 44-year-old Florida governor ate chocolate pudding with three of his fingers while on a private plane ride to Washington, DC. “DeSantis has his dirty fingers all over senior entitlements like cutting Medicare, slashing...

National Yorkshire Pudding Day is observed across the United States each year on October 13th. #YorkshirePuddingDay Not to be confused with a dessert, Yorkshire Pudding is a traditional English dish similar to a popover. The dish is made from a batter and usually served with roast meat and gravy. Cooks in the north of England devised a means of using the fat that dropped into the dripping pans. They created a batter pudding while the meat roasted in the oven. In 1737, one such cook published a recipe for “A Dripping Pudding” in The Whole Duty of a Woman. Make...

Joe Biden’s parting words to conclude his first State of the Union address left some viewers scratching their heads. As he prepared to step back from the podium following a poignant hour-long speech before Congress and the nation on Tuesday night, the president declared: “Go get ‘em!” Viewers sounding off on social media were quick to question what Mr Biden meant. “What did ‘Go get him’ mean? Sincere question,” one Twitter user asked. Another quipped: “My thoughts are with the White House speechwriter whose closing statement just got replaced with ‘go get em!’”

As details of his meeting with Russian President Vladimir Putin in Geneva have been disclosed, President Biden professed himself "stumped by some of the criticism I've received for what I and Joe Scarborough agree was the most successful summit meeting in world history." The most serious criticism of Biden's actions at the summit was tied to the list of 16 crucial targets for cyber attacks that he handed to Putin. Rebecca Heinrichs, a senior fellow at the Hudson Institute, asked "since when is it a good idea to give an adversary a list of vital targets? From one perspective, it...

Good morning Joe Biden warned that the US would retaliate if Russia continued with cyber-attacks on American targets after “good and positive” talks in Geneva with Vladimir Putin. After three hours of talks in their first in-person summit, the US president said he told his Russian counterpart that they needed to have “some basic rules of the road that we can all abide by” – or face consequences. But, he added, “the proof of the pudding is in the eating”. Putin, meanwhile, said the discussions were run without “hostility” and that he and Biden “spoke the same language”.

President Biden starts his day lifting weights before sipping orange Gatorade in the Oval Office — bumping Diet Coke as the presidential beverage of choice, according to a new report. Biden, 78, “begins his mornings with a workout that often includes lifting weights, and he meets regularly in person with a trainer,” according to the Washington Post. The president proceeds onto the Oval Office, where orange Gatorade is enjoyed with lunch — or even on the run in a lunch bag. “He has the tastes of a 5-year-old,” a Biden adviser told the paper.

Most of our snow, along with the neighbors from San Diego, has melted away. They didn't actually melt. It was more like they ran screaming back to warmth and Palm trees. Us hardier and poorer types look forward to the snow. We have to. It's all around us. We have had warm winds blowing in from Canada the last couple of days. We call these "Chinook" winds. The Canadians call it "Blowing all the tumbleweeds South". I like our name better. The Canadians have a lot of strange names for things. They call a hat a "Took". They call beating...

Here’s a story you won’t see on “60 Minutes.” Veteran TV-news correspondent Steve Kroft enjoyed a string of hotel hookups with a sexy New York City lawyer, getting his kink on with the aid of Viagra and racy text messages — including one in which he told his lover he “would rather be eating your pudding,” according to a new report from the National Enquirer, which hits newsstands Wednesday. The married CBS newsman — who once famously confronted Bill Clinton over the then-Arkansas governor’s rumored womanizing — convinced Harvard-educated Lisan Goines that he was trapped in a sexless marriage with...

Does it make me especially country that I have two Aunt Bee's? Just to be clear, this recipe is from Texas Aunt Bee, not Mississippi Aunt Bee. I've had plenty of banana pudding in my time, but this is definitely the best you'll ever stretch your lip over!
