San Diego Chargers quarterback — and Alabama native — Philip Rivers announced Thursday that he would endorse Rick Santorum in the state's presidential primary, praising the former Pennsylvania senator's record on social issues. The quarterback went on to pledge to help Santorum as he campaigns through the Deep South.
