Sen. John Fetterman, D-Penn., was gifted a silver-plated beeper during a visit with Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu after the lawmaker praised Israel's covert operation in which it detonated pagers last year worn by Hezbollah terrorists in Lebanon. Fetterman repeatedly has voiced support for Israel while breaking with the Democratic Party, which has been critical of Israel's military operations in Gaza, and has demanded that Hamas return all the hostages the terror group took on Oct. 7, 2023. He was visiting Netanyahu's office in Jerusalem this week when he reiterated his support for the Jewish state. "Hamas does not want...

The operation began over a decade ago, with Mossad initially weaponizing walkie-talkies sold to Hezbollah. "A walkie-talkie was a weapon just like a bullet or a missile," said "Michael," a former Mossad case officer whose identity was concealed during the interview. "Inside the battery, there is an explosive device… made in Israel." The agents revealed to 60 Minutes how Mossad developed shell companies to sell these devices covertly. "We create a pretend world," said Michael. "We are the directors, producers, and main actors; the world is our stage." He explained this fake world as similar to The Truman Show, similar...

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu reportedly confirmed Sunday that Israel was behind the “pager attacks” that killed or wounded thousands of Hezbollah terrorists in September and disrupted the group’s communications. The pager event has been called the most successful targeted attack on terrorists in the history of anti-terror warfare. It caused a minimum of injury to civilians while causing major damage to Hezbollah’s infrastructure and personnel. The Times of Israel reported: Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu admitted for the first time during Sunday’s weekly cabinet meeting that Israel was behind the pager and walkie-talkie attacks on Hezbollah in September, according to...

WASHINGTON (Reuters) - Palestinian American U.S. lawmaker Rashida Tlaib on Friday condemned as racist a cartoon published in the conservative magazine National Review showing her with an exploding pager - a reference to an attack this week against members of the Iran-backed militant group Hezbollah in Lebanon. "Our community is already in so much pain right now. This racism will incite more hate + violence against our Arab & Muslim communities, and it makes everyone less safe. It's disgraceful that the media continues to normalize this racism," Tlaib wrote on the social media platform X. Tlaib, a Democrat who represents...

Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-N.Y.) said her House office was “tagged with blood-splattered signs accusing [her] of supporting terrorism” after she condemned Israel for a series of explosions across Lebanon involving pagers that targeted members of militant group Hezbollah. “Yesterday my House office was tagged with blood-splattered signs accusing me of supporting terrorism after I questioned the pager operation, which clearly runs counter to US policy,” Ocasio-Cortez wrote Friday in a post on the social platform X. “They must live under a rock to not know I don’t take well to bullies,” she added in. On Wednesday, Ocasio-Cortez posted on X...

A Hezbollah terrorist lost both of his testicles in pager explosion. Life had been rough for him, but luck took a strange turn when he was fast-tracked into a government job under the disability quota. On his first day, he showed up bright and early at the government office. As he approached his new supervisor’s desk, the supervisor glanced up, raised an eyebrow, and noticed that the guy didn’t seem to have any apparent visible disability. “Ah, you’re the new guy. Welcome!” said the supervisor, shuffling some papers around. “Now, if you don’t mind me asking, what exactly is your…uh…...

They literally never knew what hit them. Hezbollah is still trying to figure out how Israel allegedly intercepted a shipment of new pagers from Taiwan and planted one or two ounces of explosives in them. Then, with nobody the wiser, shipped 5,000 pagers merrily on its way to end up in the pockets of Hezbollah operatives and fighters. The reported details of this operation reveal a startlingly thorough job of planning and execution right down to the fake message from Hezbollah leadership that detonated the devices. Israel has not taken responsibility for the attack, though it's widely believed they were...

WASHINGTON, D.C. — Capitol Police responded to an urgent call amid reports of a loud disturbance in the congressional offices today. Michigan Congresswoman Rashida Tlaib was later reportedly uninjured after her pager mysteriously exploded. The incident occurred earlier Tuesday in Tlaib's Capitol Hill office, where her pager had been sitting on a desk before spontaneously detonating, causing a significant scare but leaving no reported injuries. "It just blew up right out of nowhere!" one of Tlaib's staffers said following the explosion. "We were just going about our business, checking over the congresswoman's itinerary of Death-To-Israel protests, when there was a...

Paging all terrorists! Thousands of Hezbollah terrorists were injured in southern Lebanon on Tuesday when their new pagers all simultaneously exploded — causing horrifying burns to their groins and hands as the devices detonated on their belts and in their pockets. Lebanese officials said 2,800 people were injured and eight killed in what Hezbollah officials claimed was a hacking attack by Israel.

Just received a voice mail page from someone with Smart Beep announcing Smart Beep's planned business closure and cancellation of all Smart Beep pager services as of September 30, 2004. Then the voice mail message referred all Smart Beep customers to Metro Call Corporation, a company licensed in Virginia. The Metro Call customer service rep explained that Smart Beep had not given advance warning of the (generous) referral nor was Metro Call aware of Smart Beep's financial woes which Smart Beep says caused the upcoming business closure. Metro Call claimed they first became aware of the (generous) referral two days...

Just wondering why there is a speaker/pager thing by our user names on the pages now of Free Republic. Not sure what it is about. I click on it with some message about java, then it leads me back to the news activism posts. Can anyone clear this up? Thanks, Brad

I noticed this morning that a little speaker icon had popped up next to my screen name, and when I let the browser settle on it, the word "pager" appears. When I click on it, it just takes me to my comments, same as clicking on "New Messages." Could someone please explain this innovation? Thanks.
