LONDON: The British Home Office is considering legal action to deport the hardline cleric Sheikh Omar Bakri Mohammad, who told Muslims yesterday they must not help police to identify terrorist threats in their communities. Senior British officials are urgently reviewing the immigration status of the fundamentalist Syrian-born cleric and that of other radical Muslim leaders as the Government tries to curb their activities.
