Dane County mothers will be guaranteed the right to breast-feed in public under a law the County Board is expected to approve tonight. The proposed ordinance prohibits anyone from interfering with a woman nursing an infant or pumping breast milk in a public place under county jurisdiction, such as the airport, the zoo or any stores or restaurants in unincorporated areas. Anyone who violates the law would be subject to a fine of $10 to $100.Sup. MONROE, Mich. -- A school bus assistant in Monroe made a startling discovery on Tuesday, reported WDIV-TV in Detroit. The assistant noticed a 3-year-old boy getting on the school bus with a small plastic bag in his hands. Inside the bag was marijuana, the station reported. The boy’s mother told police she had marijuana inside the home, but the boy told police he found the bag in his father’s car, according to police. The parents could be charged with drug possession and child neglect.
