A majority of U.S. adults will not get the updated COVID-19 booster shots soon, according to a new survey. Just 5 percent of those surveyed said they’ve already received a booster and 27 percent said they will get one as soon as possible. The rest said they will wait and see, only get one if required, definitely not get one, or cannot get one because they have not received a primary series. NEW YORK (AP) — A government advisory committee on Wednesday recommended that all U.S. adults younger than 60 be vaccinated against hepatitis B, because progress against the liver-damaging disease has stalled. The decision means that tens of millions of U.S. adults — mostly between the ages of 30 and 59 — would be advised to get shots.
