I have a question for LINUX users: We ran updates for LINUX last night, and when I turned on the computer this morning, I had no sound. It doesn't seem to be a problem with the speakers, and my Bluetooth ear buds are still getting sound when I listen to various YT sites; but nothing is coming out of the computer/speakers otherwise. Has anyone experienced this? We have Mint, I think it's 21. We have never had an issue like this. Thanks to anyone who has time to respond.

In Israel, protesters gathered in large numbers outside Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu's residence on November 4. In view of failures of the government to address the situation, that led to previous month's deadly attack by Hamas gunmen on communities around the Gaza Strip, protestors raised slogans in front of Netanyahu's house, reported Reuters. Ok, I installed Linux Mint on one of my pc's about a year ago. I lost the password and now I'm trying to resize the partition it lives in. Anybody know what to do? Linux Mint 20.3 BETA "Una" The .iso is available here: https://linuxmint.com/edition.php?id=292 I loaded the Cinnamon Edition on a 120 Gb SSD and it took about 10 minutes to install. I used Aptik to make an image of my base computer. Then used the Aptik to install all of my base computer's extra software. I tested it and could not find a single problem. McDonald’s customers craving the fast food giant’s famous Shamrock Shake struck gold this week. The popular minty green milkshake — made from McDonald’s vanilla soft serve blended with Shamrock Shake syrup and topped with whipped topping — is officially back on the menu, the company announced on Twitter, Thursday. The Royal Canadian Mint is investigating how a sealed, "pure gold" wafer with proper mint stampings may in fact be a fake. The one-ounce gold piece, which was supposed to be 99.99 per cent pure, was purchased by an Ottawa jeweller on Oct. 18 at a Royal Bank of Canada branch. OK- installed Linux Mint Cinnamon 18.1 recently, everything was working fine- then recently what has been happening is I'll be working along fine, and then for some reason, my windows go transparent- Icons are still opaque on desktop- but everything I open, card games, Internet browser, notepad etc are all transparent- even the shutdown dialogue is- Can't find any info online linux forums about this behavior- Any thoughts on how to fix it?
