Arizona Republican Senator John McCain has branded himself as a “maverick” of Republican politics. For those who pay attention, such coy euphemisms as “maverick” betray a more-sinister label: turncoat. Though he represents one of the most-conservative states in the union in the Senate, McCain consistently works against conservative issues.
