Michael Bloomberg is donating a total of $150 million to Johns Hopkins University and six other institutions of higher learning to increase racial diversity among students seeking Ph.D.s in science, technology, engineering and math. The effort was announced Tuesday in a joint statement from Bloomberg Philanthropies and Johns Hopkins University, Mr. Bloomberg’s alma mater and the recipient of most of the money. Funding will also go to a handful of historically Black colleges and universities and minority serving institutions: Howard University, Morehouse College, Morgan State University, Prairie View A&M University, Spelman College and the University of Maryland, Baltimore County.

There doesn’t appear to be an end in sight for the hundreds of millions Bloomberg News owner Michael Bloomberg is willing to spend to buy the U.S. election for Democrats. The liberal billionaire’s new schtick is elevating Democratic candidates down-ballot who are like-minded with his extremist vision on climate change. Specifically, Bloomberg is dumping an “additional $20 million into this election cycle, flooding the airwaves in North Carolina, Texas and Arizona to promote down-ballot candidates who share his views on climate,” according to Axios. The outlet noted that this cash dump is “on top of the $100 million he pledged...

Democratic fundraisers are privately urging billionaire former presidential candidate Mike Bloomberg and his team to invest in hotly contested Senate races with just over a week until Election Day, according to people familiar with the matter. The pleas come as a super PAC aligned with Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell floods these races with cash on behalf of the GOP candidates. The Senate Leadership Fund, which is run by allies of McConnell, is outraising and often outspending its Democratic counterpart, Senate Majority PAC, down the stretch. The Democratic group is linked to Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer. Bloomberg’s response to...

Paunchy former New Jersey governor Chris Christie once threatened to sit on Mike Bloomberg — during a bizarre, jealous rant involving the Queen of England. The asinine threat is alleged in former governor David Paterson’s dishy new memoir, “Black, Blind & in Charge.” It was July 8, 2010. Paterson was leading New York and Christie was the Garden State’s top exec as they awaited the arrival of Queen Elizabeth at Ground Zero, where the royal was to lay a wreath. […] “I was told by the protocol people that nobody escorts the Queen but Prince Philip,” the rotund Jersey chief...

Former New York Mayor Mike Bloomberg and his team have raised more than $16 million to pay the court fines and fees of nearly 32,000 Black and Hispanic Florida voters with felony convictions, an effort aimed at boosting turnout for Democratic presidential candidate Joe Biden. The money will go to fund a program organized by the Florida Rights Restoration Coalition to pay the fines, fees and restitution costs for former prisoners who are already registered to vote in Florida but barred by law from participating in the election because of those outstanding debts. Bloomberg, who has committed at least $100...

Sen. Kamala Harris’ motorcade raced past Colombian neighborhoods and made a quick stop for takeout in Doral — or “Doral-zuela” as it’s known locally because of its large Venezuelan population — before speeding through the Cuban stronghold of Hialeah. But during her first trip to Florida as Joe Biden’s running mate last week, Harris did little to court this region’s booming — and politically influential — Latino population. She instead focused on African American leaders waiting at a historically (b)lack university in Miami Gardens. “You truly are the future of our country,” Harris said into a megaphone after the motorcade...

Former New York City Mayor Michael Bloomberg is committing at least $100 million to help Joe Biden’s presidential campaign in the crucial battleground state of Florida. Bloomberg’s late-stage infusion of cash reflects Democrats’ concerns about the tight race in a state that is a priority for President Donald Trump. A victory for Biden in Florida, the largest of the perennial battleground states, would significantly complicate Trump’s path to reaching the 270 Electoral College votes needed to secure a second term. Republicans, however, feel confident in their chances in the state, pointing to GOP wins in 2018 and stronger-than-expected turnout in...

Employees at Bloomberg LP allege that Mike Bloomberg allowed a toxic work culture where he called a woman 'dog face', allowed an editor to continual give female staffers massages and is now championing the woman he allegedly called 'fat' in his presidential candidate campaign. Those who spoke out against the alleged workplace abuse were repeatedly ignored. Bloomberg's presidential dreams appeared to hit a very abrupt snag during the Nevada Democratic Debate when Sen. Elizabeth Warren accused him of allowing discrimination and sexual behavior at his 1981 company. He vehemently denied it, saying: 'I have no tolerance for the kind of...

If Bloomberg has any chance of winning the nomination, he has to redirect his resources during the primary and run ads against Sanders -- not Trump. Bloomberg needs to use the next $400 million in ad spending to attack Sanders on his potential weaknesses in a general election and highlight how far left his campaign is.

Social media platform Twitter said on Friday it was suspending 70 accounts of supporters of billionaire Democrat presidential candidate Mike Bloomberg’s for “spam-like” behavior. The suspension came days after the Wall Street Journal revealed that Bloomberg had hired 500 people to regularly post messages on social media supporting him. Mike Bloomberg also said Friday he would release three women from confidentiality agreements that bar them from speaking about sexual harassment or discrimination lawsuits filed against them. …

I told you that Bloomberg’s strategy all along was 3rd Party candidacy. But he had to start Democrat because that's his base. Last night they played right into his strategy. He's got great publicity of how the nut cases pushed him out of the party. It'll force a runoff, a two party race.

New video has surfaced of Mike Bloomberg explaining the time he told Donald Trump he loves him as the former New York City mayor continues to face scrutiny for his past friendship with the president. Bloomberg was engaging in a conversation with a crowd at the University of Oxford’s Saïd Business School as part of the Distinguished Speaker Series in December 2016 — almost a month to the day after Trump was elected. He noted his previous close relationship to the then-president-elect and even mentioned that he once told Trump, “Yes, Donald, I do love you.” The billionaire explained that...

NEW YORK - U.S. Democratic presidential candidate Michael Bloomberg on Tuesday outlined a sweeping financial services policy proposal to rein in Wall Street trading, boost consumer protections, increase Americans’ access to banking services, and crack down on financial crime. The left-leaning platform marks a striking turnaround for the former Republican New York mayor who made his $60 billion fortune in financial services and who in the past has criticized reforms introduced following the 2007-2009 financial crisis. Among the most eye-catching proposals is a tax of 0.1% on transactions in stocks, bonds and payments on derivative contracts, bolstering the “Volcker Rule”...

It appears former NYC Mayor Michael Bloomberg is also an expert on farming. As he tell it, anyone can do it as you just dig a hole, put a seed in, add some dirty and water and BAM — corn grows. Have a watch:

The massive expenditure amount went toward TV ads, field staff and his technology firm, Hawkfish. The record shows Bloomberg’s campaign spent over $11 million on the digital firm. Just when you think today’s politics couldn’t get any more nuts, liberal billionaire 2020 Democratic candidate Michael Bloomberg decided to promote “Big Gay Ice Cream.” The company being promoted, Big Gay Ice Cream, has about the same level of cringe as Kellogg’s LGBT-themed cereal. Their “best-known cone” is actually called “Salty Pimp.”

Democratic presidential candidate Michael Bloomberg would push for all new cars to be electric by 2035 and new buildings to produce zero carbon emissions by 2025 as part of clean energy plans he released this week. Bloomberg’s latest climate plans build off his December plan to cut the United States’ carbon emissions by 50% by 2030. That’s less ambitious than the Green New Deal that many of his competitors have embraced that calls for achieving net-zero carbon emissions within 10 years. Bloomberg’s plans do not include total costs or specifics on how they would be paid for, details his campaign...

Here are some categories of human beings that allegedly exist in the multi-year augmented media reality that we call the Democratic presidential primary. First, the "candidates." These are people who, for whatever reason, think they deserve to be the commander-in-chief and have decided the best way of obtaining this position is by seeking the nomination of the major political party that does not happen to control the White House at the moment. This involves, among other things, making speeches and holding fundraisers and appearing at various events in a wide number of states. Which brings us to the "voters,"

RICHMOND, Va. (AP) — Democratic presidential hopeful Michael Bloomberg voiced strong support Tuesday for enacting new gun regulations in Virginia a few months after groups he backs spent millions of dollars helping Democrats win full control of state government.

But the former New York City mayor said confiscating the military-style assault rifles already in circulation would be unworkable. And Virginia Gov. Ralph Northam said he has no plans to confiscate guns or cut electricity to gun owners who refuse, responding to what he called “misinformation” spreading online about his gun control plans.
