He's already a millionaire, and heir to a tissue and paper towel fortune. And now, he's won the lottery -- again. The Republican hit it big in 1997 with a $250,000 jackpot in the District of Columbia lottery. Then, last spring, he won $1,000 in the Wisconsin lottery. Two Baylor female athletes turned themselves in to Waco police Tuesday and face Class A misdemeanor assault charges after they allegedly beat a woman in Cameron Park. Latara Darrett, a sophomore on the basketball team, and Ashlee Cooper, a sophomore on the volleyball team, confronted Chayla Cooper during an argument at 11 p.m. on Aug. 7, according to an arrest warrant affidavit. Waco police spokesman Steve Anderson said an investigation revealed that Ashlee Cooper punched Chayla Cooper (no relation) in the face. DES MOINES, Iowa — A Des Moines man was charged with domestic assault Sunday after throwing a bag of Cheetos at his father. Twenty-two-year-old Patrick Hamman was arrested after the bag of cheesy chips hit his father, Michael Hamman, in the face. Police said the bag hit his father's glasses, causing a cut to the bridge of his nose. The police report said — quote— "Michael's T-shirt was also covered in Cheeto dust." Every August, just when many people go vacationing in the country where skies are dark, the best-known meteor shower makes its appearance. The annual Perseid meteor shower is expected to be at its best this year, producing one or two meteors per minute during peak hours.
