Most car enthusiasts recognize the look of a 1957 Chevrolet. In fact, many believe this car represents the essence of the styling of the 1950s when almost all cars could easily be identified by make, model and year.
Those were the times when General Motors changed the complete body design of their cars each year in 1957, 1958, and 1959; a feat manufacturers say cannot be done economically today.
According to the company with the unusual name of 'n2a Motors', a division of Kanter Concepts Inc., this individualism is not an issue. From their modern facility in Santa Ana, California the idea car has finally reached the production stage.

I'm not real crazy about the two-tone paint job and would prefer the tailpipes out towards the quarters but pretty slick otherwise.

It looks a bit like an adolescent bat-mobile that is in its ugly phase.
Sorry.

If I thought I could afford it, I'd take it in a heartbeat. That is a very very nice looking car.

The 789 is my favorite. I’ve been contemplating one for almost 6 months now. I think that the 58’s had a better color choice than ‘57 or ‘59.
To: Chi-townChief
That is awful ugly. I could live with the front end, but sticking bat mobile wings on the rear is retarded.
I could go to the scrap yard and weld together a better looking abortion.
To: Nathan Zachary
The rear end is a copy of the back of the 1959 Chevy Impala.

Well, its a 59 Chevy rear with a mini Caddillac about 56 nose , a Ciorvair chrome emblem on the front and looks to be the size of a 55-57 T Bird...
If this thing has a Corvette motor, it should be a rocket.

Great car and a great old song.

Not bad, it’s well-balanced. Most of the kids didn’t like the design at the time, but the Buick version was so bad they nearly went out of business.
