Ron DeSantis says he co-opted the MAGA agenda in 2018 to get elected as Governor of Florida.Florida Governor Ron DeSantis told reporter John Stossel in a recent interview that his famous 2018 “build the wall” campaign ad backing President Trump and the construction of a wall on America’s southern border was a “satirical” publicity stunt meant to feign support for the MAGA movement and manipulate the anti-Trump media into playing the ad on TV, giving his campaign more recognition among voters.John Stossel interviewed Ron DeSantis ahead of his official presidential campaign announcement and asked him about his famous 2018 gubernatorial...

Former President Trump attacked Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis for his abortion stance on Monday, suggesting in an interview that Florida's six-week ban was "too harsh." Trump made the statement in a wide-ranging interview with The Messenger published on Monday. Trump refused to elaborate on his own stance regarding abortion, however, instead claiming to have heard that pro-life voters opposed DeSantis' bill. "He has to do what he has to do," Trump said when asked about Florida's six-week ban. "If you look at what DeSantis did, a lot of people don't even know if he knew what he was doing. But...

What’s known is that $250 billion in capital has left, equivalent to 14 percent of its GDP. One expert guesstimates that Russia’s economy has shrunk from the size of Italy’s to Chile’s in the past year — you wouldn’t know this based on bogus figures fed to the media by Moscow. Economist Janis Kluge of the German Institute for International and Security Affairs (SWP) calculates that Western sanctions alone have also “basically shrunk Russia’s economy by 10 percent”, bigger than what happened in the 2009 financial crisis. What is also known is that immediately after the invasion of Ukraine, an...

WASHINGTON — House Republicans have spent months promising to use their majority to uncover an insidious bias against conservatives on the part of the federal government, vowing to produce a roster of brave whistleblowers who would come forward to provide damning evidence of abuses aimed at the right. But the first three witnesses to testify privately before the new Republican-led House committee investigating the “weaponization” of the federal government have offered little firsthand knowledge of any wrongdoing or violation of the law, according to Democrats on the panel who have listened to their accounts. Instead, the trio appears to be...

The pandemic happened. It was real. But the real destructive force was not the Coronavirus. The evil was the insanity of lockdowns, mandates and burdening future generations with massive government debts. Compare this modern madness with the compassion and sense of fiscal restraint implicit in the attitudes of Javanese noblewoman, R A Kartini, when talking about what her father, a Regent, could do for the victims of floods in her era, the early 1900's: "....... the rulers do all that is possible to mitigate the distress. Last year a fishing village lay for a whole week under water; day and...

WASHINGTON, D.C. — Pennsylvania Sen. John Fetterman has checked himself into a hospital to receive treatment for clinical depression, his staff announced on Thursday. Fetterman, who suffered a near-fatal stroke while campaigning for the Senate seat last year, checked into Walter Reed National Military Center Wednesday night, according to Adam Jentleson, his chief of staff. “While John has experienced depression off and on throughout his life, it only became severe in recent weeks,” Jentleson said in a statement.

Jim Cousens Must Die (satire) Australian police in Victoria at their innovative law-busting best have today created the evidence to convict and execute a man for using the f-word once about Queen Victoria. Police insist that if he had not done this 3 years ago, the reign of Queen Victoria would have been an astonishing success, but is now irretrievably destroyed forever by Jim's selfish and quintessentially male use of the F-bomb once. In Victoria there is zero tolerance for this sort of disrespect for women's hard-earned status as strong, independent, sassy, fearless, deeply compassionate victims of the eternally evil...

The biggest, bloodiest, cruelest terror against Christians in history.Millions upon millions of martyrs; a concrete number is hard to ascertain. Indeed, it is beyond staggering the multitude of lives that were lost to the new world of Secular-Humanistic Marxist dialectic materialism, not only in the former Soviet territories (such as Russia, Ukraine, Belarus, Latvia, and so forth) but around the world.

KYIV (Reuters) -Ukrainian state security officials searched the home of billionaire businessman Ihor Kolomoiskiy on Wednesday, in what several media outlets said was an investigation into possible financial crimes. The Security Service of Ukraine (SBU) did not immediately reply to a request for comment about the reports, and Kolomoiskiy could not be reached for comment. A senior governing party official confirmed Kolomoiskiy's home had been searched - as well as that of a former interior minister - but did not state the reason for the search.

Evangelical pastor Franklin Graham, a longtime supporter of former President Trump, says he will not endorse Trump — or any candidate — in the 2024 GOP presidential primary. “I’m going to stay out of it until after the primaries have finished,” Graham told CBS News on Friday at the March for Life rally in Washington, D.C. Graham also told CBS News that it was an “easy decision” not to endorse someone during the 2024 primaries. CBS noted Graham doesn’t generally endorse primary candidates, but his remarks come as tensions have been rising between evangelical groups and Trump in the months...

Trauma from environmental and climate disasters can cause long-term changes in cognitive functioning, according to research published Wednesday in the journal PLOS Climate. Researchers from the University of California San Diego and California State University used existing data from survivors of the 2018 Camp Fire, the deadliest wildfire in California history. In the 2023 study, researchers found that among a subset of people directly exposed to the fire, electroencephalography (EEG) scans showed noticeable differences in brain activity and cognitive function. I rate Donald Trump along with Ike, Kennedy, Nixon and The Gipper as one of the best five American presidents of my lifetime. (I was born in 1957 on a day when Andy Williams "Butterfly" was on top of the charts.) I believe that what the Trump Presidency did for America and for the Western World would never have happened if he had not had smart beautiful women who loved him in his family and at his side. Words and images which I believe prove this can be seen by clicking the link in red type below the title of...

An attorney for Derek Chauvin is planning to ask an appeals court Wednesday to throw out the former Minneapolis police officer’s convictions in the murder of George Floyd, arguing that numerous legal and procedural errors deprived him of a fair trial. Floyd died on May 25, 2020, after Chauvin, who is white, pinned the (b)lack man to the ground with his knee on his neck for 9½ minutes. A bystander video captured Floyd’s fading cries of “I can’t breathe.” Floyd’s death touched off protests around the world and forced a painful national reckoning with police brutality and racism. Former President Trump on Tuesday declined to say whether he will stick by House Republican Leader Kevin McCarthy (Calif.) as his bid to become Speaker appeared to hit a wall. “We’ll see what happens,” Trump told NBC News in a phone conversation when asked if he stands by his endorsement of McCarthy. “I got everybody calling me wanting my support,” Trump told NBC. “But let’s see what happens and we’ll go — I got everybody calling, wanting my support. That’s all I can say. But we’ll see what happens. We’ll see how it all works out.”
