President Trump on Monday did not rule out sending U.S. troops to Ukraine as part of a peacekeeping force if a potential peace deal between Kyiv and Moscow can be reached. “We’ll let you know that, maybe later today,” Mr. Trump said during an Oval Office meeting with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy. Mr. Trump’s refusal to rule out the idea of U.S. boots on the ground in Ukraine is a potential major shift in his policy towards Ukraine as the war-torn nation considers security guarantees to be essential for any peace agreement. Mr. Trump met with Russian President Vladimir Putin on Friday to seek an end to the war.

I suspect it’s a bluff, just to keep the Neocons from immediately deserting.
Remember....we have a Congress...and I haven’t heard him say anything of the sort...inferences by the media...don’t count.

Still, this is a huge change of tone in the White House.
Trump is applying “Peace Through Strength”, which was a campaign promise.
That’s one way to get the left to be against sending troops to Ukraine. Anything Trump says he might do, the left is solidly against it.
If there are American peacekeeping troops in Ukraine together with EU troops, trust me, Putin will not dare to continue his aggression. He would respect Trump.
End of the war - Trump wins another campaign promise.
That's exciting. Macron has been "not ruling out" for about two and a half years now, Starmer for about two years and Merz for a couple of months. There's a lot of "not ruling out" going on these days.
I'm not ruling out that Europe will continue to buy Russian energy and other products until at least the end of 2027. Because they said so.
"Not ruling out" is quite a different thing than "ruling in."
People need to read Article 5.
While it “sounds” strong, it leaves any response up to the country. It could mean war. It could mean a strongly worded letter.
If I know this, Putin knows it.
He could rebuild his army. Restock it. And attack again.
Britain, France, and Italy would be nowhere to be found.
This is a three year solution.
Ha also promised America First and boots on the ground in the Ukraine is absolutely NOT America First.

Russia is CLEAR that there will be no NATO ‘peacekeepers’, so even if Trump promises such, not going to happen.

After Trump gets a peace deal, the Anti Trump partisans will be calling him Donald Chamberlain.
They’re puppets that follow whatever the US/UK government media complex tells them.

So far, Trump has intimated that he might send U.S. troops to both Ukraine and Gaza. We already have U.S. mercenaries in Gaza and in Ukraine.
And he doesn’t rule it in.
There is zero chance of the war ending if there is any threat of NATO troops on the ground anywhere in Ukraine.
I have realized there is a new cure for Erectile Dysfunction. Just chant the words “Boots on the Ground” three times... All fixed...
Only someone delusional that can't face reality doesn't understand that.
If France wants to send troops. Send 'em and see how many come back in body bags. But, leave us out it.
