Japan's armies of "salarymen" were famous for spending endless hours at the office. Now one tech giant is trying to make the experience more cuddly by allowing in pets. Fujitsu Ltd, which makes everything from air conditioners to super computers, opened an experimental "dog office" in July at one of its buildings in Kawasaki, near Tokyo. After teleworking throughout the COVID-19 pandemic, Yuka Hatagaki was one Fujitsu employee lured back to the office a few times each month along with her five-year-old Maltese-poodle cross, Noel.

BISBEE — A case of dog hoarding had a positive outcome Thursday when the owner agreed to voluntarily relinquish 37 of her 63 dogs, who all appeared to be healthy and well-socialized according to representatives from the Humane Society of Southern Arizona, which took the dogs to be checked out, neutered and spayed and then adopted. Cop shot one dog. The other ran away.An Orlando police officer is being treated for bites and scratches after he was attacked by two dogs today, police said. The officer shot one dog and the other ran away. The dog was taken to an animal hospital. The animal's condition was not immediately known.
