Anti-War Group Suspects it May be Victim of 'Infiltrators' By Marc Morano CNSNews.com Senior Staff Writer August 30, 2005 (CNSNews.com) -- The anti-war group Code Pink, slammed by conservatives and some wounded veterans for co-sponsoring recent protests in front of the Walter Reed Army Medical Center in Washington, D.C., now suggests that the most inflammatory signs held up at the protests might have been the work of "infiltrators whose aim [was] to disrupt the vigil." Among the most controversial signs held up at the protests was the one reading "Maimed for a Lie." But far from qualifying as an "infiltrator,"...

The leftist protesters who gather every Friday night outside Walter Reed Medical Center are inspired by a radical agenda that few if any soldiers share. The protesters -- organized by the radical antiwar group CodePink and others -- have been photographed with signs bearing insults like "Maimed for a Lie" and "Died for Halliburton." They have lined mock flag-draped coffins outside the hospital. These cannot be meant to heal the wounds of those whom the nation has sent to battle. The protesters insist they have the soldiers' best interests at heart, and that they don't intend to demean anyone. This...

WASHINGTON, DC, 8/26/05 – They are tall and muscular, with tanned arms bare to the shoulders. Their black leather vests are encrusted with insignia from their exploits, in the military and on motorcycles. Virile men with long gray hair and weathered skin, they are ageless bad boys with cordially menacing attitudes. They are bikers, and not just any bikers; they are three of the five board members of DC’s Rolling Thunder Motorcycle Rally and Thunder buddies from North Carolina, and they have just arrived, with heart-stopping engine roars and banshee brake stops, in a hospital zone. They have come to...

FreeRepublic.com had an excellent Freep tonight of Code Pinkos. WE SUPPORTED OUR TROOPS! Someone else will do the full after action report. Here are just a few quick photos. We outnumbered them about 100 to 25 by my estimate. See Photos: http://TroopsSupport.com/WalterReed082605a/index.htm

With all the radio talk shows and even television media almost swarming over the story about Code Pink-Os weekly Friday night blood dance at Walter Reed Army Medical Center, the leaders of Code Pink are trying to say they don't have signs demeaning of our soldiers and their mission. They are trying to say that theirs is a somber and supportive "peace vigil." And that is a bald-faced LIE.I have been remiss in not getting my photos up on Webshots in a timely manner, because BillF's photos have been fabulous, and I haven't felt any pressure.Well, now the pressure is...

These photos were taken by Freeper tgslTakoma, while with the DC Chapter of Freerepublic when they were counter protesting Code Pink. Code pink is protesting our wounded military heroes at Walter Reed hospital. Code Pink is trying to whitewash the intent of their protests saying that they are at walter Reed for peaceful purposes. Judge for yourself:
-
Just heard Free Republic mentioned on Fox News for alerting a CNS reporter about the shameful protesters at Walter Reed.
-
OK Hannity mentioned Free Republic on the radio. He has Ann Coulter on and I it should be a great show! Able Danger should be discussed plus those morons trying to back track at Water Reed! Not a Portest? PLEEEEEEEEEEEEEEESE!

The left loves to try to tell us, "Don't challenge us! We support the troops; we just don't support the war. Our buddies at the Cybercast News Service, or Cyber News Service, report: "The Walter Reed Army Medical Center in Washington, D.C., the current home of hundreds of wounded veterans from the war in Iraq, has been the target of weekly anti-war demonstrations since March. The protesters hold signs that read 'Maimed for Lies' and 'Enlist here and die for Halliburton.' The anti-war demonstrators, who obtain their protest permits from the Washington, D.C., police department, position themselves directly in front...

A horde of the pink unwashed descended on Fox News' headquarters in New York City yesterday afternoon to hold a "Shut-up-athon" against the number one cable news outlet in America. Led by Code Pink, the leftist feminist group founded to oppose the war on Iraq, about a thousand demonstrators filled the sidewalk in front of Fox's building on 6th Avenue at 48th Street. Police were everywhere to keep order, which they did with great success. FReepers Coleus, Laserlock, ELS, Trueblackman, kristinn and two lurkers held a counter-demonstration there to support Fox News and to educate the public about Code Pink's...

Substitute host on Glen Beck talking about Walter Reed Hospital protests. FReepers please call in!!!!
-
The gentleman who wrote the Walter Reed protest story for CNS News credited the Washington DC FReepers for giving him the heads up on the Anti-War protestors. Kudos to Kristinn and the Gang!!

Something I wrote about here a LONG time ago is now a "scoop" on Drudge: the taunting of wounded war vets (fresh from Iraq and Afghanistan) by anti-war protesters at Walter Reed hospital. Drudge writes as if Conservative News Service (CNS) was the first to discover this. Not true. Free Republic counter-protesters wrote about this long ago and posted photos. They've been there for over 2 years. Here's what I wrote, back in April: "Back on U.S. soil, Code Pink harasses badly wounded American soldiers, protesting them outside the Walter Reed medical facility in Washington, DC." What Drudge doesn't say--but,...

Washington (CNSNews.com) - The Walter Reed Army Medical Center in Washington, D.C., the current home of hundreds of wounded veterans from the war in Iraq, has been the target of weekly anti-war demonstrations since March. The protesters hold signs that read "Maimed for Lies" and "Enlist here and die for Halliburton." The anti-war demonstrators, who obtain their protest permits from the Washington, D.C., police department, position themselves directly in front of the main entrance to the Army Medical Center, which is located in northwest D.C., about five miles from the White House. Among the props used by the protesters are...

For the twelfth week in a row, FReepers from the DC Chapter and beyond have outnumbered Code Pinkos at their weekly obscene anti-war blood dance outside Walter Reed Army Medical Center. Code Pink is truly stuck in a quagmire as FReepers severely hinder the Pinkos' cynical attempts to manipulate wounded soldiers and relatives in hopes of finding those who will join the anti-war movement and break faith with the troops still fighting a ruthless enemy. Many of the most severely wounded troops from the war in Iraq and Afghanistan are taken to Walter Reed for continued treatment and rehabilitation. The...

FReepers of the DC Chapter, reinforced by other patriots, FReeped a Moveon.org event at the White House and nearby Lafayette Park. Moveon had planned candlelight vigils across the nation to support Cindy Sheehan's demand that President Bush meet with her again, although many of the supporters don't even realize that he did meet with her already. By actually daring to present an opposing viewpoint, we successfully prevented the Moron.org people from getting a completely free ride in the media. At one stage, a leftist was so belligerent that a police officer ordered him away. Our focus was on supporting the...

Several hundred people attended a vigil near the White House in Washington, chanting "meet with Cindy, tell her the truth" and "end the war now". At least one counter-demonstration was organised by pro-war group FreeRepublic.com, prompting a heated exchange with protesters in a Washington park.

Some critics say Sheehan is exploiting her son's death to promote a left-wing agenda supported by her and groups with which she associates. They say scores of Americans, including relatives of soldiers killed in Iraq, support Bush and his plans to keep troops there. FreeRepublic.com, which holds rallies to support troops and to counter anti-war demonstrations, planned to hold a pro-Bush rally Wednesday night at the same time and same Washington, D.C., park as a candlelight vigil there. "For us the organizers of the vigil are phony-baloney, betraying the sacrifices that those, men and women make in Iraq, by demanding...

It was to have been a silent vigil outside the White House last night in solidarity with Cindy Sheehan, the Gold Star Mother-turned-antiwar activist. But the 500 demonstrators were not the sort to be silenced. "Meet with Cindy!" they chanted. "Tell her the truth! . . . This war was for oil! . . . End the war now!" "Cindy Sheehan," organizer Karen Bradley shouted into a megaphone, "you are an inspiration to us all!" As Sheehan, mother of an American soldier killed in Iraq, camps out near President Bush's ranch in Texas this month in symbolic protest, foes of...
