Prime Minister Mark Carney was asked on Saturday during his visit to the U.K, whether there are any plans to introduce a digital ID card for all working Canadians. as British Prime Minister Kier Starmer announced a similar a day earlier for anyone wanting to work in that country. “The U.K. is relatively unique in not having other forms of identification… (Canadians) have forms of identification… we don’t have current plans for that,” Carney said.
