Prime Minister Mark Carney was asked on Saturday during his visit to the U.K, whether there are any plans to introduce a digital ID card for all working Canadians. as British Prime Minister Kier Starmer announced a similar a day earlier for anyone wanting to work in that country. “The U.K. is relatively unique in not having other forms of identification… (Canadians) have forms of identification… we don’t have current plans for that,” Carney said.

Liar.
Maybe what he means, is that today, we have no plans for a digital ID, but next week, we will.
Canada should have to clear its immigration plans with the US.
People in Canada have other ID tools. Britain does not.
Just as in the US we have state ID (that passes Federal tests), passport cards, passports, and social security cards (which, cough cough, cannot be used for IUD purposes.)
Honestly, I wish I could get digital versions of those IDs. It would be one fewer thing to carry.
(Kinda) true dat. As of September 27, 2025 he doesn’t have current plans for digital IDs for Canadian proles. Just wait until October 1, 2025, THEN the plan becomes ‘current’!
He is, as of this moment, still in the UK, visiting his fellow motherWEFer, Two-tier Keir; probably advising each other on how to proceed with the roll-out of the enslaving legislation, oops, ‘digital ID’ legislation. This is Carnage’s second trip to the UK, since March. He has also been several times visiting the PRC (People’s Republic of China), from PRC (Politically Repressive Canaduh), learning more about THEIR digital ID and ‘social credit scoring’, and taking direction, direct from his controllers in Bejing.
I actually believe him. I suspect he’s going to continue to have zero plans for a digital ID until the UK rolls it out and sees how it’s actually accepted (or isn’t).
The UK is the test case. If it works there then they will expand it to the EU.
Then the world.
Including the U.S.
No current plans.... Any FUTURE plans?
I certainly wouldn’t want them used for an IUD.
“Don’t have current plans”
=
Hell yes I’m going to do it.
“for anyone wanting to work in that country.”
Many don’t seem to realize that a large number of Indians and other British empire immigrants are Canadian citizens that live and work in the US. Canada gets to make money off them and yet not be overrun by too many of them actually in Canada.
Some of my best friends are Indians from Canada.
No other forms of ID...?
The UK doesn’t have passports?!
Who knew!
