Rural Northern Calfiornia native, Fifth Generation from pioneer stock. Solid Bavarian lineage, civilized (?) with some High Class Scottish DNA and a bit of the same from England. On my own these days, save for a couple of kats and an ever deepening faith in Jesus. A dog and a genuinely kind-hearted wife would make things just about perfect. Traditional, extremely conservative by today’s standards, and doing what I can in my community to keep us from completely going down the drain. Huge fan of our Founding Fathers, passionate about our Constitution, and more upset than is healthy for me about the state and direction of our world, as well as the quality of people who’ve risen to the top in terms of popular culture, politics, and power. A lifetime Misfit and thinker. I enjoy music of all types (as long as it’s good), food of all types (as long as it’s good, and doesn’t involve organ meats), and the quirky subtleties and incredible beauty of life here on Earth. Very lucky to have a few close friends at 65 and a daily visitor to this site since 2001, or maybe a little before.
