“Air BBs” are nothing more than mini hotels in otherwise stable, secure, family oriented neighborhoods. A commercial use with an ever-changing and un-accountable occupancy. Yet another nail in the coffin of our society’s foundational unit: the Traditional Family. Most people in liberal areas are just fine with that.

I fully support renaming it the Trump River. I fully believe that if so named, it would get cleaned up. Things would happen, and it would be cleaned up. And that would be glorious.

All three branches of the state government are intent on its destruction. A few years back, they released hundreds of thousands of criminals from prison due to alleged overcrowding. And now —surprise!— they want to close prisons. Meanwhile, our once beautiful cities, like San Francisco, have been gutted. Violence, people crapping in the streets, and rampant retail theft have driven decent people out, and they’re not coming back. Stores are closed, banks have left, and druggies run around like lunatics out on the street and fill every other public space. Yes, clearly it is time to close our prisons. Demonic. I’ve got to get the hell out of a CA.

Excellent point on the subject of sex— people used to respect its power to permanently change lives for both the better and the worse. As one who played fast and loose with it, I can attest to the high cost of not properly respecting that power. I think it used to be called “sin”, or something like that...

Not quite; that is, not that there was “no” motivating factor. Only that in many cases, that factor was (for more women than men) just ‘falling out of love’, and wanting ‘a new start in life’ vs. the need to protect one’s self or children. Just my experience and observations. Your point, though, about men being more likely to be violent addicts, is a valid one.

A very good point. Does Freedom of Religion mean that we must permit the establishment of an idealogical agency (Islam) that intends to eliminate that freedom? The obvious only logical answer is No, it does Not, nor can it be construed to suggest so. Many people are however incapable of thought, and so this fact thoroughly escapes them; they are incapable of grasping it.

Well, now, that would be the lady folk, now wouldn’t it? ‘Round 80% of the time, if what I’ve read is true. From my observations and personal experience, I’d say that sounds about right.

Why is this thing still up? What is the explanation around how it came to be? What bureaucrat issued the permit? What commission approved it? Who paid for it? Nobody cares. We just suddenly, with no explanation, have a morbidly obese gigantic black woman scowling at us, with her butt in our faces. This is our country today. Wonderful.

No license, no insurance, and poor driving skills. Wonderful. One of millions. Causing the wrecks licensed, insured citizens won’t. One of the many reasons my insurance rates have skyrocketed, and one that could have been completely prevented.

Interesting. You’d think the first thing the press would do would be to either a.) ask him to show proof of that having taken place, or b.) simply confirm with the Archives that it is true. I don’t suspect, necessarily, that it’s not. Just an example of how inept/useless the press is today.

And yes, here we are again, glorifying a violent criminal (quite popular these days...). Kidnapping was most likely just one of the many charges in the case that put him away.

‘Gender Affirming Care’ should mean whatever treatment program will cure a child (or anyone else) of the delusion that they are anything other than their actual biological sex.

I’d be OK with “If you attempt to cross our border illegally, one of two things will happen. Either you will be immediately set upon and physically removed to the nation on the other side of that border, or you will be shot.” Does that make me a bad person?
