Singer-songwriter Rod Stewart has become the latest prominent British celebrity to endorse Nigel Farage as his Reform UK party seeks to upend the political establishment in London.
It is time to “give Farage a chance” at governing the country, according to Maggie May singer Rod Stewart.
Speaking to The Times of London, Sir Rod said that while he is “extremely wealthy”, he said that it “doesn’t mean I’m out of touch”.
“For instance, I’ve read about Starmer cutting off the fishing in Scotland and giving it back to the EU. That hasn’t made him popular. We’re fed up with the Tories,” he said.

Thank you very much and God bless you.
I wish that I knew what I know now
When I was younger
I wish that I knew what I know now
When I was stronger
Not what I expected either. But it’s getting bad in the UK. Prison sentences for Internet posts. Rubber boat invasion. And a political class that openly hates its own people.
Mr. Farage would do well to be screening candidates for representative elections now.
Maggie May’s real name was Kathy and she lived in Bayside Queens in 1972.
Trump effect- from an never Trumper....
As an added bonus, Rod has Hot Legs! ♥️
And do ya think he’s sexy?
I wouldn’t classify Rod Stewart as a rocker. Maybe a crooner.
Next time I see Rod at the Blue Oyster, I will let you know. 🕺
A couple years back he was still kicking soccer balls into the upper balcony at Caesars Palace.
Great show. He has the most talented musicians and sounds better live than he does on the stereo.
Rod’s wife Penny probably doesn’t know about this endorsement.
He is a great talent, but not as great as his fellow Scottsman Al. 😉
Nigel Farage = Good Guy
Rod was actually pretty good friends with Trump, then he turned on him, mainly over Israel. That said, Rod’s first wife, Alana Stewart is a Trump supporter and longtime Republican.
Me too..I’m surprised...
He is a great talent, but not as great as his fellow Scottsman Al. 😉
About twenty-five years ago, I attended a Rod Stewart show at the Pyramid in Memphis. It was a great time.
He kicked around soccer balls and was extremely energetic and seemed to have a blast performing. His band was superb. I agree, his voice was better live than on radio or albums.
I’m glad I had the opportunity to see him live.
Starmer is wicked evil. Expect to see the same tyrannical garbage out of Carney soon in Canada. Both are WEF installees placed to keep the USA and President Trump in check.
I seriesly thought he died of throat cancer some time back. Good to see that I was wrong.
