Coalesce or DieI caught a couple of clips the other day of some of the big podcasters or candidates and their counterparts on the other side of the spectrum. What became apparent from the beginning was the fundamental misunderstanding of who and what Trump is. Now, that seems ridiculous given the amount of time that Trump has been in front of the cameras, the near hysteria with which his every utterance is screamed across the internet, both positive and negative, but it seems true. I know people don’t want to hear about politics, especially at this stage, but this is...

Conservatives need a national agenda that reclaims American institutions from the Left. A blueprint exists, from a surprising source.America is trapped in the loop of 1968. The politics of that fateful year have set the patterns and bounds of our national life for decades. It’s as though we have lived an endless recurrence: the Black Panther Party reappears as the Black Lives Matter movement; the Weather Underground pamphlets launder themselves into academic papers; the Marxist-Leninist guerrillas trade in their bandoliers and become managers of an elite-led revolution in manners and mores. The ideology, narrative, and aesthetics of the left-wing social movements...

Start the Counter Revolution that will take your country back and start it today The only way to take back your country (any country) begins and ends with reclaiming your own hometown by running your own candidates for mayors, councillors and school board trustees in the very next election. It’s an idea for a Counter Revolution, whose time came a long time ago but has been virtually ignored until now. It is not at the federal level of government where the shift to socialism can be stopped in its tracks, but at the largely ignored civic or municipal level.

Federal judges sit on the bench for life and can either uphold the law or rule like tyrants. This puts judicial appointments right near the top of the most important things a president can do. The newest Supreme Court justice, Neil Gorsuch, has already shown what a difference a constitutionalist can make. But we need many more to counter the hundreds of Clinton, Obama and Jimmy Carter-appointed judges who issue zany rulings that override common sense and thwart democratically enacted popular will. A case in point is U.S. District Judge Carlton Reeves, a 2010 Obama appointee. In March, he issued...

In any discussion about the future of religion in America, especially as it relates to stalled growth in churches and denominations, those outside our religious communities find one theory especially compelling. This is the idea: that young Evangelicals are frustrated with Christian orthodoxy’s strict standards of sexual morality. We’re told that these young Evangelicals will soon revolutionize our churches with liberalized views on same-sex marriage, premarital sex, gender identity, and so on. But a new study by a University of Texas sociologist finds that Evangelical Christians ages 18 to 39 are resisting liberalizing trends in the culture. The suggestion of...

Now, let me post a quote from a piece published today about Ukraine titled “Bloodlands”, and I will put in red brackets substitutions in the U.S. context -snip-: …It is far more a criminal syndicate than a classic totalitarian regime. The tactics Yanukovych {the Obama regime} has employed as president — forging alliances with oligarchs (who have funded the president’s political party and also made him vastly wealthy personally); hiring gangs of brutes to cow potential opponents; assassinating opponents who didn’t get the message from the thugs or who refused to kowtow; aggregating power in the hands of a single...

FULL TITLE - Ukraine: You Better Pay Attention Because ThatÂ’s How ItÂ’s Eventually Going to Play Out in North America. There is basically a media blackout on the counter-revolution in Ukraine, but yÂ’all better pay close, close attention, because A.) decent human beings are being slaughtered in the streets for standing up to an illegitimate government and this ALWAYS merits attention as a function of simple charity and B.) I think the events in Ukraine are a foreshadowing or prototype of what will eventually play out in North America. The two situations have many similarities. Please note that I used...

Starting on Sunday, the more than 30 million Vietnamese who use the Internet risk punishment if they use their Facebook or Twitter accounts to share news articles. The posting online of any material that “opposes” the Socialist Republic of Vietnam or “harms national security” will also be outlawed under vague new Internet regulations that are causing dismay at home and abroad. The introduction of the law known as “Decree 72” comes a month after President Obama hosted Vietnamese President Truong Tan Sang at the White House, and less than two months before Vietnam will almost certainly be elected onto the...

I recently read the new biography of Trotsky by Oxford don Robert Service, published in 2009 by Pan Books. It is well-written and surprisingly interesting. The book does a great public service in describing the life of the actual Trotsky, whose previous “biographies” were little more than hagiographies written by his toady worshippers (people like Isaac Deutscher). The last time that I had taken any interest in Trotsky was when I was a teenager and had fleeting delusions of believing in “socialism.” Reading the new book as an adult and as an economist, I found it a useful opportunity to...

TEGUCIGALPA (Reuters) – Honduras' Supreme Court ruled on Wednesday that ousted President Manuel Zelaya cannot legally return to office, dimming the possibility of his reinstatement after a June coup, court sources said. The Court did not release the full text of its non-binding ruling, but a court source and a lawyer close to the proceedings said it closely follows earlier decisions upholding Zelaya's ouster after he moved to change the constitution.

Hoffman's supporters stage big rallyDouglas L. Hoffman's first congressional campaign stop in Watertown had more campaign staff — three — than attendees. Three months later, the Conservative Party candidate in the 23rd Congressional District race was a bigger draw here than the vice president of the United States. Mr. Hoffman's raucous rally Monday at the Jefferson County Agricultural Society Exhibition Hall drew more than 300 and featured speeches by former U.S. Sen. Fred Thompson and a soundtrack by country music star John Rich. Mr. Thompson, revered in conservative circles, wasted no time reminding the crowd of what was at stake...

Students from Lawrence High in Lawrence, Kansas, created a Facebook page entitled “Save Mr.Latham, Lawrence High History Teacher” after their history teacher, Mr. Latham, was allegedly “non-renewed” for being a political conservative. The result:The Facebook page now has 1,857 fans from all over the world and Fox News covered the story of alleged political discrimination on its morning show, Fox & Friends. Local television and radio stations have also picked up on the student’s online effort to expose what they believe is an injustice and the kind of political discrimination they don’t want their school administration to engage in. We...

Interestingly enough an important amendment brought to the floor today was not in the H.R. 1388 when it passed the Senate today. The first presented by Sen Vitter (LA) wanted to insure that no money be made available to ACORN and its affiliates, on the grounds that it is a organization with possibly suspect behaviour and that including it in the bill would not be able to politicize charitable giving and activities. Saying that the bill doesn’t allow politicized does not necessarily protect the country from ACORN’s “so-called” charitable activities. ACORN has already received considerable funding from the government, for...

How dazzling is President Obama? So dazzling that he didn’t merely give a dazzling inaugural speech. Any old timeserving hack could do that. Instead, he had the sheer genius to give a flat dull speech full of the usual shopworn boilerplate. Brilliant! At a stroke, he not only gently lowered the expectations of those millions of Americans and billions around the world for whom his triumphant ascendancy is the only thing that gives their drab little lives any meaning, but also emphasized continuity by placing his unprecedented incandescent megastar cool squarely within the tradition of squaresville yawneroo white middle-aged plonking...

If you’d asked me if I considered myself a conservative when I started college, I would have said yes. If you asked me if I was a staunch conservative or a radical conservative, I would have said no. But then something happened. As the days and weeks passed and I heard the leaders and heroes I had long looked up to bashed, trashed, and disrespected, and as I heard my faith mocked and ridiculed, I realized something. It wasn’t enough to hold my own, or play defense in this environment. To survive here, I’d have to play offense. I couldn’t...

Are there any people out there who think we need to counter the Obama revolution? A counter revolutionist is one who stands against a revolution. In our case, a counter revolutionist will bring back Capitalism, restore our military, and dismantle a stagnant socialized health care systems. It is going to be our job to fix what the commies break. I have been sending out battles cries on FR, so some may have seen these battle cries already. But I think the counter revolutionist should become more Patriotic. The left says that dissent is Patriotic. So, please allow me: IT IS...

A CCP High-Ranking Official Renounces CCP By Jiang Bo Special to The Epoch Times May 04, 2007 I am a Chinese Communist Party (CCP) official. Being immersed in the official circles of the CCP for so many years, I have long recognized its dirty true colors. Living among these official circles, nobody can stay pure. Everyone becomes corrupt in this environment as they fish for personal gains. If you wish to remain uncontaminated, you will immediately be regarded as different and cast aside. So in order to survive and secure a seat for yourself, you must voluntarily dye yourself the...
