That's a great book. Heiser's research and writings open whole "new" vistas of Biblical history ignored by most modern churches and seminaries because they seem so "difficult" or not relevant to the New Testament. On the contrary - they are crucial to a deeper understanding of it and our own present spiritual world.

It explains a spiritual and Biblical world most people today never knew clearly existed in the Bible - although Jesus, the Prophets, and the Apostles were very familiar with the information. It makes so much of the "unexplainable" today make entire sense.

One will almost never hear a sermon today on these crucial historical and spiritual subjects.

After getting rid of all the illegal invader freeloaders, we need to get the American freeloaders off the programs. Eliminate all these "food" programs. They are filled with thievery and graft. Only a small portion goes effectively to the genuinely unfortunate.

It is not the responsibility of the government to make sure hungry people eat. That is nowhere in the Constitution. It's simple. Whatever politicians and bureaucrats touch eventually becomes a racket.

The solution is, however, in the Bible. It is the responsibility of the provider in each household to provide for that household. In the case of the unfortunate remainder the Church and personal charities can fill in and provide.

The responsibility to pay for the poor choices of some people does not belong on the backs of government taxpayers and officials. Bad life choices by foolish or selfish people produce bad outcomes for themselves and others dependent upon them.

It is not the responsibility of civil government to fix the problems of everyone. The purpose of government is to provide defense from a predatory world, general civic order, and genuine justice for all under law.
