  • More U.S. troops have died amid Iran war than Pentagon has disclosed publicly

The WP editors would rather live as slaves to Iranian pirates than stand and fight for their freedom and liberty. They are worse than cowards, they are seditionists.

If AI is “self-improving,” it’s humans who ultimately will decide what this means. Humans will remain the final judges of what is “true” and what is “beautiful” because we are the ones who must live in the real world with real consequences for survival.

AI is simply a new technology that accelerates natural selection to optimize human survival and flourishing. Not because I say so, but because this is built into the laws of the universe. You can call it the “Free Energy Principle”, the “Wave Function of the Universe”, or “God,” but it has evolved into a more abundant, healthy, and moral world because smarter, healthier, and more enlightened humans prevailed over time.

What the AI doomers fear most is that AI will make mediocre people doing bureaucratic make-work jobs irrelevant. AI demands humans rediscover their creative spirits to build, learn, teach, explore, love, reproduce, and leave a distinct human mark on the world during their brief lifetimes. Humans will have more time to live and less time to labor. What we do with the time is our choice.

The threat from AI is not that it will kill us. It is the realization by people in government, academia, media, and other bureaucratic institutions that they are incompetent and irrelevant relative to AI’s capabilities. They will descend into decadence and hedonistic behaviors that will kill them outright or lead to their suicide.

  • Iran war driving up inflation for Americans, CBO report says

    09/15/2026 6:44:14 PM PDT · 31 of 45
    Dave Wright to MinorityRepublican

Inflation is a monetary policy effect that occurs when the Federal Reserve expands the money supply beyond the country’s productive capacity, leading to unmet consumer demand as more dollars chase fewer goods. Since the weapons used in the Iran War had already been purchased, this could not cause inflation.

People confuse price increases due to market forces with actual inflation. The price of oil has increased because Iranian pirates are threatening oil tankers, preventing the delivery of a plentiful commodity to the market. This is not a monetary policy problem; it is a national security problem that can only be resolved by ending the Iranian threat to oil supplies.

Total baloney. The Saudis were already rerouting pipeline oil back to routes through the Strait of Hormuz that had been opened by the US Navy. This was just a cautionary interruption while they prepared their military to hit the Houthis.

  • Bessent’s move to tamp down rising rates backfires as bond yields jump and stocks tumble

Bessent has an advantage over the bond vigilantes who are shorting Treasuries. He’s privileged to see the upcoming CPI and PPI reports before the markets. If these signal lower inflation, the bond shorts will be forced to cover, and bond yields will tank. I wouldn’t bet against someone with insider information.

There is no doubt that thousands of people have seen aerial phenomena that were inexplicable by ordinary standards. The disappointing fact is that, based on the fundamental laws of physics, it is impossible for a massive body to attain the speeds or acquire the energy to travel any appreciable distance within or between any galaxy in the Universe.

Whatever may be out there, it will forever be the speculation of science fiction writers. We will never have contact or receive information about the existence of other intelligent beings in our Universe. No civilization sufficiently aware of the distances and times required to travel between star systems would attempt such a futile and uncertain voyage.

The only possible exception would be if we detected light from one or more stars indicating their energy was being diverted within a Dyson sphere or some other advanced technological device with no natural explanation. It would be interesting, but not very useful information.

Peace is better than war, but war is better than slavery. The majority of people are sheep who would rather live on their knees as slaves to Islamic fascists then stand and fight for liberty and freedom. They rely on the bravery and courage of a small minority to secure their rights at great cost, and are too stupid to show gratitude for their sacrifice.

“[A]ll digital information—such as ballot definitions, voter choice records, vote tallies, or voter registration lists—is subject to malicious alteration; there is no technical mechanism currently available that can ensure that a computer application—such as one used to record or count votes—will produce accurate results; testing alone cannot ensure that systems have not been compromised; and any computer system used for elections—such as a voting machine or e-pollbook—can be rendered inoperable.”

If everyone, including the Secretaries of State and Board of Elections officials, knew this, how could they in all honesty certify the official vote count for their respective states? Isn’t that perjury?

But all those Secretaries of State certified that the vote count was true and accurate! They told us the 2020 election was the most secure election ever. Are you suggesting that they committed purjury and validated a chaotic process that lacked integrity?

Why, if that were true, the election would need to be voted on by the Congress on January 6th, since the popular vote was unreliable. I guess it was just a coincidence that the only legitimate process that could have decided the vote count was sabotaged by morons that were let into the Capitol building by the Capitol police.

Our fascination with unexplained aerial phenomena is an interesting story. The belief that they are piloted by beings from another galaxy is impossible science fiction. Whether life evolved on some other planet in some other galaxy is speculation based on probabilities, but, in the end, it’s irrelevant.

No massive sentient being could traverse the distances between galaxies in any conceivable time that would make the journey useful. The laws of physics are clear; this is impossible.

  • Why the Left Really Hates Trump’s America 250 Celebration

    Dave Wright to Vaduz

The intellectual, highly educated, progressive left resents anyone who is better off than they are without having their “bona fides” of moral superiority. One of the most important beliefs of the low self-esteem progressive class is their obsession with guilt. Like priests, they must always feel guilty that their lives are not filled with the same level of suffering as other people, known collectively as “the Oppressed.” The ultimate sin for a progressive is not to feel guilty about everything.

Donald Trump rejects their belief in guilt and thereby becomes immune to it as a weapon for attacking his morality. Trump is optimistic, self-assured, and utterly without guilt in anything he does or says. This is his sin, and why they hate him. He puts a lie to their deepest moral principle of feeling guilty.

Tesla records and reports every data point for every sensor in the car, just like a Flight Data Recorder in commercial airlines. This makes it the perfect witness to any accident or system failure. They are the safest cars on the road, and with FSD, they drive better than 98% of the humans on the road.

The Democrats are the party of vandals. They vandalize cities with graffiti and homeless encampments. They vandalize the courts with lawfare. They vandalize politics with TDS witch hunts. They vandalize elections with illegal, unconstitutional processes to allow them to cheat. They vandalize everything they touch. Why should we be surprised when they vandalize national monuments?

You can rent Citizen Vigilante on Fandango At Home, but I’ll save you the $5.99. It’s a terrible movie unless you like seeing SWAT officers slaughtered for doing their job. This movie is pure Antifa propaganda, a nihilist fever dream where the only instinct is “kill them all” and never get caught.

The reason Tesla doesn’t advertise its cars is that once people see that a Tesla isn’t a car but a Personal Transportation System (PTS), and that every other car in the world is obsolete, demand will exceed production capacity, and prices will skyrocket.

I’ve had my Model Y for 6 months, traveled about 3500 miles, and have not hand-driven it more than a mile or two, mostly just to park where I preferred. I charge it on solar from my Tesla Powerwall and drive on sunshine in a state where the average price of gas is almost $6.00/gal.

    Talk about a no-brainer.

  • Did Darwin help start WWI?

    06/06/2026 7:06:29 PM PDT · 12 of 16
    Dave Wright to CondoleezzaProtege

Social Darwinism was a misreading of Decent of Man to support racist beliefs and ideologies. “Fitness” is determined by the ecological niche for a human population. White skinned Germans would be at a substantial disadvantage living in sub-Saharan Africa without the survival skills and adaptations of the locals in Namibia. There is no universal form of “fitness.”

In a state of nature without laws or moral constraints those with a “strong will” domininate those with a “weak will.” This was accepted even in advanced societies like Greece and Rome that considered slavery to be moral.

Modern civil society evolved to constrain those with a strong will through laws, customs, and moral traditions to maintain a semblance of peace rather than living in the perpetual “parabellum,” of all against all.

What ultimately stopped WWI was the stronger will of Great Britain, France, and the USA to defeat the weaker will of the Second Reich military cult and restore a state of peace.

This holds true even today with test of will between Radical Islam and the Enlightened Western democracies. Islam is banking on the West preferring to live on their knees as slaves rather than standing and fighting (once again) for individual freedom.
