Trump Is Right About Voting Machines: If you doubt that, just ask Obama-Appointed Judge Amy Totenberg.
American Thinker ^ | 07/18/26 | Don Brown

Posted on 07/18/2026 8:14:53 AM PDT by SeekAndFind

Two nights ago, President Trump went on national television and again called out the vulnerability of electronic voting machines to manipulation. The White House election-integrity page puts it bluntly: “For years Americans were blatantly lied to about the security of our election infrastructure, including electronic voting machines and ballot-counting systems.”

In its typical smokescreen tactic to distract the public from the facts, the left immediately dismissed the concerns as a “conspiracy theory.” But in this case, not so fast... The left should have asked federal democrat Judge Amy Totenberg first.

In October 2020—just weeks before the presidential election—U.S. District Judge Amy Totenberg of the Northern District of Georgia issued a lengthy opinion in Curling v. Raffensperger. The case was brought by progressive groups, including the Coalition for Good Governance, challenging Georgia’s new Dominion ballot-marking device (BMD) system.

That system, selected under then-Governor Brian Kemp, puts a Dominion machine in every county in the state. Before the 2020 election turned the issue partisan, left-leaning organizations and even Rachel Maddow’s MSNBC praised the lawsuit for highlighting serious problems with Georgia’s voting equipment.

Judge Totenberg is no conservative. She is a Democrat appointed by Barack Obama. She is the sister of longtime liberal NPR legal correspondent Nina Totenberg. Yet her October 11, 2020, Opinion and Order contains some of the most devastating judicial findings ever written about the reliability of Dominion’s QR-code-based ballot-marking devices.

The core problem Totenberg identified is simple and profound: voters never get to verify the votes that are actually counted.

She wrote that “the tabulation of the vote is actually based on the ballot’s non-encrypted QR barcode on the ballot—designed to summarize the voter’s ballot selections in code—that by itself is not voter reviewable or verifiable.” The human-readable text on the paper is irrelevant…

Note the media isn’t really trying the debunk it, they are just ignoring it.

Go back to paper ballots!!

Works in every country outside the US, and we know the final results before the nite is out too (none of this counting-for-weeks BS)

Voting machines are hackable ... look what happened in Pennsylvania in 2020 - vote paused, then suddenly Biden was magically in the lead!!

I don’t think anyone that really gives this any thought doesn’t see the risks.

They only support a certain outcomes and therefore downplay or ignore this threat all together.

Selective reasoning skills. Right up there with selective morals.

Go back to the mechanical lever voting booths. No software. No way to be hacked. Just read of the tabulation from the mechanical counter on the back of the machine, call it in to the central counting office, and have the vote announced within twenty minutes of the closing of the polls. Keep the paper tabulation as proof of the vote. This system worked for year. Electronic is not always better than simple mechanical.

They did nothing.

An employee that was disgruntled over being passed over for promotion handed everything to them.

The man who is right that really matters is the captured and singing Ex President of Venezuela, Maduro.

Maduro knows and is relating Venezuelan based election manipulation all over the world.

Our agents in Venezuela have all the damning info.

Urgent self-exile and suicide are going to begin to happen to the guilty Democrat operatives

That’s why I put it in quotes. Mainstream media would do anything to get rid of Nixon, they wanted his scalp ever since he worked for HUAC.

There should be matching paper for every ballot image.

The ballot images could be uploaded to the supervisor of elections website using a buffering of 50 images to maintain voter privacy.

https://soe.sarasota.co.fl.gov/Dominion/25_000732/10/16/26/ballot_page_00000132.png

The file name would have the machine maker, serial number and the date the ballot was cast.

You or the local Republican Party could hand count the votes yourself.

RE: Note the media isn’t really trying the debunk it, they are just ignoring it

Let’s take the so-called right of center Fox News.

Brian Stelter observes: “Fox News aired Trump’s elections speech, on both cable and broadcast, but moved on quickly. This morning, Fox is barely talking about Trump’s obsession at all…”

Other left-leaning outlets adopted similar talking points.

Laura Ingraham didn’t even discuss the speech, even though Trump was scheduled to speak just two hours later. Jesse Watters gave it a passing mention at the end of his show, prioritizing one of his correspondents interviewing people in bathing suits at Central Park. Sean Hannity gave the speech a small amount of discussion and said his show would look into it in the coming days.

The question is WHY? WHY OH WHY?

Here’s my answer— DOMINION’s LAWSUIT!

One of the longterm consequences of Fox News settling its lawsuit with Dominion Voting Systems for $787.5 million is that FNC programming will avoid discussing voter fraud. See here:

https://press.foxnews.com/2023/04/fox-news-and-dominion-voting-systems-reach-settlement

Therefore The topic appears to be forbidden. Fox News shuns it like the plague.

It was the same with the conservative leaning number 1 talk show station in the USA: WABC in New York. Yes, the station owned by the Trump supporting Billionaire John Catsamatides.

Their regular afternoon host, Rudy Giuliani, the greatest mayor NYC ever had in the last half of the 20th century was told to refrain from talking about Voting Machines, especially Dominion. When he refused, his show was abruptly cancelled. Catsamatides has explained subsequently that he does not want the complications of a lawsuit.

Which means, FNC’s silence on Trump’s voter fraud claims isn’t an editorial decision; nor does it mean that the president’s speech was “so disgracefully packed with lies that even some of the president’s most loyal lapdogs decided to keep their distance from it.”

And it absolutely, positively, 100% doesn’t mean what Brian Stelter told CNN’s viewers was the “best tell of all” — that “some of Trump’s allies in MAGA media know this might not be a winning issue for him.”

It means FNC’s silence and Giuliani’s cancellation was a legal/business decision from ownership.

To my knowledge, this hasn’t been reported elsewhere.

The left has a potent tool to silence opposition — THE LAWSUIT.

The First Amendment guarantees freedom of speech up to a certain point. You can’t exercise it unless you’re super wealthy and have time to abandon your life’s work to spend your days in court.

I recall during the Georgia elections review on the state level they demonstrated the actual voting system was exposed to internet invasion and it happened real time during testimony. Coffee County GA infiltration revealed in January 2021. STILL UNDER INVESTIGATION!
Excerpt from AI search

Coffee County Incident
In January 2021, security footage revealed unauthorized access to voting equipment in Coffee County, Georgia.
This incident involved a team of computer experts who copied software and data from the voting system.
The local Republican Party chair was present during this breach, raising concerns about election security.

A question...

Why do states that don’t use RCV have and use RCV-enabled electronic voting machines?

Inquiring minds want to know.

Hint: I think Deep State has figured out that it’s far, far easier to make certain votes disappear.

“[A]ll digital information—such as ballot definitions, voter choice records, vote tallies, or voter registration lists—is subject to malicious alteration; there is no technical mechanism currently available that can ensure that a computer application—such as one used to record or count votes—will produce accurate results; testing alone cannot ensure that systems have not been compromised; and any computer system used for elections—such as a voting machine or e-pollbook—can be rendered inoperable.”

If everyone, including the Secretaries of State and Board of Elections officials, knew this, how could they in all honesty certify the official vote count for their respective states? Isn’t that perjury?
