Elbows Up Stengthens U.S. Tariff Resolve at Canada’s ExpenseThe disastrously misguided “Elbows Up” campaign championed by the Carney government rooted in the fantasy that a smug, arrogant Liberal elite wields leverage over the largest economy in human history, has suffered yet another devastating blow. The latest fallout: U.S.-based truck manufacturer Paccar Inc., maker of iconic heavyweights such as Kenworth and Peterbilt, is slashing Canadian production and laying off hundreds of workers in anticipation of a 25-per-cent U.S. import tariff set to take effect next month. Employees at Paccar’s Sainte-Thérèse, Quebec plant were informed Wednesday that the company will move production...

"Watch Zeteo’s editor in chief Mehdi Hasan educate the Daily Wire’s Matt Walsh on the history of slavery, including Muslim slavery, in the United States; point out the many and varied contributions of Muslim Americans to this country; and debunk his lazy conservative talking points while laying out Walsh’s own long history of odious, bigoted, and unhinged views. (Have you heard his ridiculous and racist hot take on Disney’s The Little Mermaid? Well, you’re about to!)" Video is 8 mins. ‘I’m More American Than You’ - Mehdi unloads on Matt Walsh

Homeland Security @DHSgov COWARDLY, @ChicagosMayor . When asked about an illegal alien who grabbed a woman, bashed her head into a sidewalk, knocked her unconscious, and raped her, his only response was “Let’s move on.” Brandon Johnson’s sanctuary city policies have made the citizens of Chicago easy targets for depraved criminal illegal aliens. President Trump and @Sec_Noem are fighting for the safety of EVERY American—even when their failed leaders won’t.

MAZE @mazemoore Zohran Mamdani's father: America is the root of all evil and was the inspiration for the nazis. Hitler learned genocide from Abraham Lincoln. I'm sure Zohran loves America though. Nice job NYC

The Washington Post's boastful front-page slogan is "Democracy Dies in Darkness." But on today's Morning Joe, Post columnist David Ignatius kept viewers in the darkness regarding his own paper. The show devoted yet another long segment to denouncing President Trump's ballroom project, and in particular, his decision to demolish the East Wing that was deemed necessary. [snip] Ignatius offered a metaphorical analogy of his own: "This is the presidency as wrecking ball." He went so far as to claim that "the destruction of the East Wing has really upset people in a way that even Trump's most outrageous other actions...

A lawsuit filed in New York City on Monday alleges Black and Latino voters are being unconstitutionally diluted in the city’s only congressional district represented by a Republican. The Monday suit was filed by Elias Law Group, a Washington D.C. based firm chaired by well-known Democratic election lawyer Marc Elias, and singled out New York’s 11th district which has been represented by Republican Rep. Nicole Malliotakis, a Latina, since 2021, according to the New York Times (NYT). The action comes after Texas, Missouri, North Carolina and California — pending a vote — have already redrawn their House maps ahead of...

As I noted in an article a few days ago, Dem Officials are Incentivizing Anti-ICE Violence, Dem cities are pushing law enforcement to confront ICE personnel. The next stage is pretty obvious. Trying to arrest federal law enforcement personnel. Manhattan DA Bragg Says He’s Looking at Prosecuting ICE Agents – Bloomberg JB Pritzker Looking at Prosecuting ICE Agents in Chicago – Newsweek Can San Francisco police arrest ICE agents who defy California’s mask law? – San Francisco Chronicle That last one is from Erwin Chemerinsky, the dean of the Berkeley law school, who argues that…”federal officers, including ICE agents, can...

The International Stabilization Force (ISF) that is to patrol Gaza as part of President Donald Trump’s 20-point Gaza ceasefire plan could include troops from Azerbaijan, Indonesia, and Pakistan, one report says. The New York Times reported last week that Arab and Muslim nations had been reluctant to fulfill their portion of the agreement regarding the ISF, due to fears of clashes with Hamas — which is still refusing to disarm — and fears that they would be viewed as an occupying force, defending Israel against Palestinians. However, a few nations have stepped forward — all Muslim, and all non-Arab states....

It looks like CNBC Squawk Box co-anchor Becky Quick is fed up with the Democrats’ hypocritical nonsense over the ongoing government shutdown. Quick skewered House Minority Leader Hakeem Jeffries (D-NY) during the October 24 edition of Squawk Box. Quick scolded him over Obamacare subsidies: “What you’re asking the Republicans to do right now when they control the White House, the Senate and the House is effectively what the Democrats could not do when they controlled all three heads of government themselves,” The CNBC personality continued, with Jeffries just staring stone-faced: “The three-year set up for the expiration of these credits...

The government shutdown gets uglier at the end of this week. With President Donald Trump traveling abroad and Congress still deeply divided over a path to fund federal agencies, a pileup of deadlines on and around Nov. 1 is set to put many U.S. households at risk of new hardship: Popular programs that provide nutrition assistance, early childhood education and air service to rural communities are now among those about to run out of money. Thousands of federal employees will also miss their first full paychecks this week, so services like TSA screenings and air traffic control operations could be...

Check out this headline: Why was he pressured? Well, because people found out he was convicted of sexual abusing teen boys a few decades ago. You'd think they would include that in the headline. Here's Spotlight Delaware on the Democratic Party Chair in Sussex County, who balked (ironically, as you'll see in a moment) at the initial calls for him to resign. The Sussex County Democratic Party Chair, Jeff Balk, who was the subject of recent controversy over his decision to remain in leadership despite his past sex crimes against minors, resigned Sunday night ... His resignation comes amid a...

Gov. JB Pritzker's (D-Ill) claim that crime is down in his state and the City of Chicago is based largely on reclassifying felonies to misdemeanors. The Governor boasted "this essentially cost-free method of improving our safety record is something we should have thought of doing a long time ago. Prosecutors have always had the authority to decide whether to reduce the cost of prosecuting offenders by offering them a deal to plead to a misdemeanor and get a lesser sentence or probation rather than being tried for a felony. We also save on incarceration expenses with the lighter sentences." US...

NEW YORK CITY, NEW YORK: During the rally for New York mayoral candidate Zohran Mamdani, socialist Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez delivered a loud and emotional speech at Forest Hills Stadium. (The Daily Signal)—President Donald Trump named two members of his Cabinet as an unbeatable duo in the 2028 presidential election. When asked by a reporter on Air Force One Monday morning if he would run in 2028, Trump said, “We have great people.” “One of them is standing right here,” he said, referring to Secretary of State Marco Rubio. “We have JD [Vance], obviously. The Vice President is great. Marco is great, I think. I’m not sure if anybody would run against those. I think if they ever formed a group, it would be unstoppable.” Trump said he “hasn’t really...

Picture this: You’re a high-school senior who just scored early admission into your dream university. You’re elated … until you realize you’ve also locked yourself into whatever financial-aid package the school decides to offer, with no ability to shop around or negotiate. Congratulations, you’ve just become Exhibit A in a new class-action lawsuit (well, not literally) that accuses America’s most elite universities of running what amounts to an admissions cartel. Four students filed a federal lawsuit in a Massachusetts federal district court in August, targeting Duke University and other top-tier institutions, as well as the Consortium on Financing Higher Education....

Europe’s inability and unwillingness to protect its incorporeal cultural cornerstones has now extended to its tangible cultural icons.I write from a quiet, mountainous part of Central Europe. The scenery is idyllic, and the fall air is crisp. But much as the case has been in my other recent trips to the European continent, the sights I see and the conversations I hear are all underscored by a similar haunting concern: Will there even be a Europe, in any cognizable sense of the term, a century from now?All across the continent, fertility rates have plummeted, and the Christianity that defined the...

Meanwhile in merry ole England…. “We are here to take over your country and uphold sharia law.” The Metropolitan Police prohibited a UKIP march in London’s Muslim-majority Whitechapel neighborhood. In response, hordes of masked Muslim men assembled near Whitechapel station, performing public prayers, chanting slogans like ‘Allahu Akbar’ and ‘Whose streets? Our streets?’, and vowing to defend their community, with no arrests made. A viral video captured a left-wing counter-protester insisting alliance with the group, only to be rejected, fueling online discussions about progressive-Islamic relations and drawing historical parallels to Iran’s 1979 revolution. A rally by the political party UKIP...
