Attorney Benjamin Crump and members of George Floyd's family met on Tuesday with President Joe Biden, ostensibly to talk about what Crump calls the "George Floyd Justice and Policin' Act." "The president was very personal," Crump told reporters afterward, "because he got to know this family over the years." Crump did not say how many years ago Biden first met the Floyds, but he can be forgiven for this miscue in that he usually makes even less sense than Biden. If, however, Crump bragged to the president about how he cleverly framed George Zimmerman in the 2012 Florida death of...

One year after George Floyd's murder sparked nationwide protests against police brutality, his family's meeting with President Biden as Congress struggles to pass the police reform bill bearing George's name. The Prez hosted Floyd's family at the White House Tuesday, and George's nephew, Brandon Williams, says Biden seemed sincere in wanting to know how the family's doing and how he can help.Earlier today in the Oval Office, I met with George Floyd’s family. They’ve shown extraordinary courage over the last year, especially his young daughter Gianna, who I met again today. The day before her father’s funeral, she told me,...

Attorney Benjamin Crump tweeted Tuesday evening that police in Columbus, Ohio, had shot an “unarmed” Ma’Khia Bryant, though body camera footage released by police to the media appeared to show that the teenager was armed with a knife. Crump, a civil rights attorney who frequently represents the families of those killed by police, jumped to conclusions: But as Breitbart reported Tuesday night, Bryant appeared to have been armed — and attacking another girl: The Columbus Division of Police released a bodycam video showing Tuesday’s shooting of a young black girl who appeared to be armed with a knife. The video...

With precious little comment from the mainstream media, American progressives have disavowed Atticus Finch and aligned themselves with the mob in front of the county jail — this summer, the mob calling for the head of whichever white cop Benjamin Crump has chosen to lynch. This is no small transition. The Atticus of To Kill a Mockingbird (not the buzzkill Atticus of the Harper Lee’s earlier effort, Go Set a Watchman) defies the racist mob and demands due process. Crump stirs up the racist mob and subverts due process. Atticus leads with evidence. Crump leads with accusations. Atticus sticks to...

A settlement has been reached in a wrongful death civil lawsuit between the family of Breonna Taylor and the city of Louisville. The deal includes $12 million for the family and more "significant" police reforms, including new drug testing rules for LMPD officers, an incentive for officers to live in specific neighborhoods and a new level of scrutiny over search warrants. Mayor Greg Fischer announced the changes at 2 p.m. with Taylor's family, attorneys Lonita Baker and Ben Crump, and others.

Trial lawyer and ambulance-chaser Benjamin Crump needs to go away. Formerly the president of the Florida Bar — which reflects poorly on the Florida Bar — Crump has risen to fame defending black victims of our racist society. A lot of the words in that last sentence are subjective. As the following rundown will show, he's either a terrible lawyer or just a scumbag looking for a quick payday. It could also be both. You surely recognize his name, but do you know his record defending black criminals? It is appalling. In fact, history almost guarantees that when Crump signs...

Here we go again: Manufacture. Rinse. Repeat. Everyone knows the cycle. Everyone knows it ends with false and incomplete narratives eventually being debunked by actual facts. Everyone knows that the racial mythmakers and political opportunists end up with fame, wealth and glory — but never any criminal punishments or moral accountability. Everyone knows, yet on and on and on it goes. Step 1: Spread out-of-context video clip of Black man subdued or shot by white cops across national media airwaves and social media platforms. Step 2: Riot. Step 3: Accuse law enforcement and America of “systemic racism,” decry police brutality...

On Black Lives Matter's website, the organization's radical founders trace the creation of their movement "to the acquittal of Trayvon Martin's murderer, George Zimmerman." Had those founders paid any attention to the trial, they would have known that Zimmerman should never have been charged with murder, let alone tried. The fact that he was arrested can be attributed to a stunningly blatant fraud orchestrated by the attorney who has been prominently milking the racial divide he helped create, Benjamin Crump. As it happens, the one person capable of exposing this fraud is George Zimmerman. All Zimmerman needs is his own...

The graphic video of Ahmaud Arbery being shot on a residential Georgia street was fed to the media by a lawyer who was friends with the men who have been charged with the killing, according to a report. Gregory McMichael, 64, and Travis McMichael, 34, who are white, were charged Thursday with murder and aggravated assault. George Zimmerman's lawsuit saga is unfolding though the Florida court system in the form of depositions and a powerful but little known tool called "Requests for Admissions." Under Florida Law, a plaintiff can submit a list of up to 30 questions, each beginning, "Admit that you...." Under penalty of perjury, the defendant must either admit or deny each statement. If the defendant doesn’t bother to answer any of the questions, the court assumes that they are admitted as true. In the way of background, Zimmerman is charging that Trayvon Martin’s support team, including Martin’s parents and their attorney Benjamin Crump,...
