There’s a new story circulating online. It all started with an X post from infamous race-baiting lawyer Ben Crump, the attorney who led the George Floyd charge. In his post, Crump claims that a historic Black cemetery in Palmetto, Florida, was vandalized, with graves damaged and “Trump” and “DeSantis” spray-painted across tombstones.
Here’s the X post Crump published:
A historic Black cemetery in Palmetto, Florida, was vandalized, with graves damaged and “Trump” and “DeSantis” spray-painted across tombstones. Our ancestors deserve dignity in life and in death. Desecrating sacred burial grounds is hateful, painful, and unacceptable. We must protect Black history and honor the families impacted by this cruelty.
We’ve seen this kind of story before. They get big, flashy headlines for weeks, and then months later we discover it was all a hoax, and the story quietly disappears.
Is this one of those hoax stories? Podcaster Matt Walsh certainly thinks so, and he found one clue in Crump’s post that has a lot of people scratching their heads and thinking we may be looking at a Smollett-style fake news story.
Here’s the first post Matt shared about the so-called “cemetery vandalism.”
My favorite part is the idea of some right wing racist extremist militant who is a big fan of both Trump and DeSantis. That’s a category that includes zero actual humans on Earth. These people don’t have a theory of mind for conservatives at all so they have no idea how to effectively slander us.
Matt makes a valid point. This smacks of a left-winger trying to mimic what they think is a typical “conservative,” while missing a key point about how different Trump supporters and DeSantis supporters really are.
Most people agreed with Matt because they understand those little nuances of this movement.
“The fact that leftists don’t actually have a theory of mind about how conservatives think, is what’s always so funny about every time they do a hate crime hoax.”
“Also, a Trump or DeSantis fan writing their names on tombstones? Like wouldn’t you write racial slurs or Democrat politicians?”
“Did they write, “This is MAGA country!” This is called “Smolletting” and this is ANOTHER Hoax…I guarantee it….Ben Crump has gotten very rich from being a Race Baiting hustler.”
“Al Sharpton doesn’t get the credit he deserves for creating the race hoax back in the day with Tawana Brawley.”
“Every neo nazi really looks to ron desantis as an inspiration🙄”
“The problem is these hoaxes are like junk mail. No-one likes it but enough people keep buying the products that it continues. There are a lot of people out there who still believe Jussie Smollett and think BLM was a real thing, not a soulless cash grab.”
These hoaxes have been flooding the scene ever since President Trump burst onto the political stage.
Who could forget the hate hoax in Fayetteville, North Carolina, where swastikas were drawn all over the city… later police announced the suspect was a black gtuy.
🚨OH. MY. GOSH!!!
It has been revealed that the man who has been drawing Swastikas all over Fayetteville NC…
…is actually a BLACK MALE, “Taquon Jameek Vereen”
He was let out on a $1500 bond and then IMMEDIATELY BEGAN WAIVING A GUN AT PEOPLE ON THE STREET.
He was YET AGAIN given a $2500 bond.
Curiously, although local media reported on the story, they miraculously failed to mention, AT ALL, the race of man who was drawing these swastikas.
…I wonder why 🤔
Will this latest Ben Crump case turn out to be yet another hoax? Based on recent history, the odds are certainly pointing in that direction.
We’ll see where the facts land, but as of now, this story isn’t adding up, and Matt Walsh raised some very good questions for all of us to ponder.

100% hoax.
Fake!
Was there ever an actual act of vandalism? And if there is evidence of any such vandalism, who is actually responsible?
Simply an assertion that something was vandalized is not evidence of anything at all. This could very well turn out to be a “Smollett incident”, and no MAGA types were involved in any way, shape, form, or manner.
Get your ducks in a row before making any wild accusations, please.
Oh, okay. Did anyone get jo skar’bro’ or fluffer meeka’s input yet?
Liberals are so easily fooled.....................
I’ve decided to rebrand them as “TDS extremists” going forward. Or ‘tedsies’. 😁👍

He’s a lawyer....... Same thing!.......
“I think there are a lot of shysters in Florida.”
