One school district in Oregon is taking some unusual steps to combat a problem threatening the safety of students, but it’s difficult to determine precisely what problem they’re trying to solve. The teachers and administrative staff of the Salem-Keizer school district have been informed that if they learn – or even suspect – that any of their students are sexually active with others in their age/peer group they must report them to either law enforcement or “state officials.”

This mild, short winter means most of Minnesota's tick population survived. Even though it's only early March, the disease-carry blacklegged ticks, also known as deer ticks, are already out and active. "We know they can be active when the temperatures are in the mid -to upper-30s, so that could be today," University of Minnesota Entomologist Jeff Hahn said. "They are out there, and we have already seen them looking for hosts," he said. Blacklegged ticks are becoming more of a problem here in the Twin Cities metro. As a result, the number of reported cases of Lyme disease are on...

I am down to my last nerve, as they say. Watching the news about the multiple scandals and how the residents of the beltway treat it all as no big deal infuriates me as I'm sure it does with many, many other American citizens. It is hard to prioritize the disgusting events we are witnessing, but I think one example might be the long overdue dismantling of the IRS. This is the agency that is being put in charge of every aspect of our lives from finance and savings to health care and they have the gall to admit they...

This is the final draft. Feel free to spread it around. - ttb A PatriotÂ’s Guide to Demonstrations For decades, protests and marches have primarily been associated with the Left. There are many reasons for this. They generally internalize politics to an extreme extent, becoming obsessed with policies that have absolutely nothing to do with their lives, families, or communities. They have jobs that either give them large amounts of free time or have few repercussions for disappearing for a few days, assuming they have jobs at all. At least half of any Leftist mob will be teachers, baristas, or...
