Law enforcement from the border region are responding to an active shooter call at a Uvalde, Texas, elementary school. At least one 911 call was placed from within Robb Elementary School.
Border Patrol agents, BORTAC special response team, and Texas Highway Patrol troopers are on the scene to assist local first responders. The situation unfolded at approximately 11:50 local time when shots were initially heard in the vicinity of the elementary campus.

A teacher was shot. It could have been a personal issue with the shooter IDK. No reports of students being injured.

Today a gun shooter at Robb Elementary went into school and shot his Grandmother dead and staff members dead and a few officers a few blocks from my house.. Pray for their families and everyone who is involved today. HE WAS A SENIOR at Uvalde High School and he baracaded himself at one of the rooms and had a bag full of Guns. Not sure if any kids are hurt.. Tragic news today.. Pray that no one else is hurt and their loved ones..

The Facebook post may be incorrect. There are several news articles from the last 45 minutes that said a number of people are in the hospital in San Antonio.
Some reports say adults, some say adults and kids, some say one adult and one kid.
They don’t say how many people total were killed.
