Two days ago Yahoo News claimed a 5-Year-Old American citizen was handcuffed at the Dulles Airport for hours.    The Independent in the UK made the same unfounded accusation.  The accusation flew around the Internet. A 5-year-old LaPlace girl died Saturday (May 21) after she accidentally shot herself while playing with a handgun, the St. John the Baptist Sheriff's Office said. Haley Moore was shot in the chest at the home of her father, Eric Moore, on Country Club Drive and brought to a local hospital where she died. Tre Merritt, a descendant of Davy Crockett, was hunting with his grandfather Mike Merritt when a black bear happened upon their stand. OMAHA, Neb. -- A child injured by gunfire Tuesday night was home talking about the incident on Wednesday. Omaha police said they were called to the area of 30th and Parker streets after 11 p.m. for a report of shots fired. Aliyah Cain, 5, had been shot inside the home. Police said that she was sleeping at her grandmother's house when a bullet grazed her leg. The child was treated at the scene and not transported to a hospital.

HAGERSTOWN - A kindergarten student was accused earlier this month of sexually harassing a classmate at Lincolnshire Elementary School, an accusation that will remain on his record until he moves to middle school. Washington County Public Schools spokeswoman Carol Mowen said the definition of sexual harassment used by the school system is, "unwelcome sexual advances, request for sexual favors and/or other inappropriate verbal, written or physical conduct of a sexual nature directed toward others." Shannon Nicole Woods (story/video) was engaged in an online discussion with an unidentified person. During the discussion the subject became money for sex. Specifically the idea that Woods would give up her five year old daughter for sex with the person on the other end for an amount of $500. The other person involved in the conversation then notified authorities who served a warrant to Woods, confiscated her laptop, CDs, DVDs, and some video tapes, and arrested her on charges of suspicion of lewd conduct - offering a minor for sex.
