  • Pelosi: Democrats Are Not Going To Fund Trump's "Immoral" Border Wall (LOL)

PELOSI: No, I'm -- I'm -- I'm OK with what our -- our -- our chairwoman, Lucille Roybal-Allard -- she is a person who has fought on these issues her -- her entire stay in Congress, which has been for a couple of decades. We're blessed that she's in the position that she is in. She knows that we -- most of us, speaking for myself, consider the wall immoral, ineffective and expensive... So even if they did, it's immoral still., and then they're not going to pay for it.
  • Yes, the Democrats Are for Open Borders

Although Democrats routinely deny that they’re for open borders — dismissing the very suggestion as an outrageous slur — their reaction to Sunday’s violence by some of the Central American illegal aliens in Tijuana suggests otherwise. If Democrats criticize DHS for trying to prevent storming of the border, and for responding to attacks on its agents with non-lethal crowd-control measures like tear gas, then what border-control measures can they possibly be for? The border clash was the culmination of a series of policy choices by Democrats over the past several years, asymptotically approaching open borders. Although things are lousy in...
  • The 'Racist Ad' and News Judgment

    11/07/2018 9:44:21 AM PST · by Kaslin · 7 replies ^ | November 7, 2018 | Brent Bozell and Tim Graham
During the last weekend before the 2018 midterms, the media decided an ad by President Trump was "racist" and therefore refused to air it. CNN, NBC, Facebook and even Fox News took that position. The "star" of this commercial is Luis Bracamontes, a Mexican citizen who has repeatedly entered America illegally and who shot two California police deputies dead in 2014. In January, Fox News aired footage of Bracamontes boasting in court: "I don't (expletive) regret that (expletive). The only thing that I (expletive) regret is that I (expletive) killed two. I wish I (expletive) killed more of those...
  • Poll: Russia Collusion and Climate Change Least Important Issues to Voters

A new survey shows that while healthcare and the economy are "very important" to voters, the issues of climate change and alleged Russia collusion in the 2016 election are at the bottom of the list for voters in terms of importance. In the poll, Gallup asked, "How important will each of the following issues be to your vote for Congress this year?"
  • Fox News Joins CNN & NBC in Pulling Trump Ad On Caravan

    11/05/2018 10:00:09 AM PST · by Pinkbell · 88 replies
CNN already wouldn't show it. The liberals went ballistic when NBC did, so they apologized this morning and said they wouldn't run it. Now Fox and Fox Business said they will not run it anymore because they've looked at it and determined it's racist. I've linked the ad, and basically, the Dems are calling it an attack on immigrants which is false. There is a difference in legal and illegal immigration. Secondly, it denies the fact that there are people who enter this country illegally or who are falsely claiming asylum that are criminals, drug dealers, and not good people....

The economy is roaring. On Friday the Bureau of Labor Statistics released the jobs report for October. It exceeded expectations. We are seeing the best wage growth since 2009, when we were crawling out of the recession. In October, 250,000 jobs were added to the economy. The unemployment rate held at 3.7 percent — its lowest level since 1969. The average hourly earnings increased at a 3.1 percent pace, year over year. That is the strongest wage growth since April 2009. More people are working than in any time in recent memory and employers are having trouble filling positions.

We are seeing a shift from the old idea that all politics is local to one where the only politics is the overthrow of the government. Recent stories and comments suggest a large number of voters are not discussing property taxes, jobs, infrastructure improvements, and other issues of local interest. Instead, they increasingly promote the need to elect Democrats so that a Democrat-controlled Congress can impeach the president and then move to remove Cabinet secretaries and Supreme Court justice Brett Kavanaugh. What they could not accomplish two years ago, keeping Trump out of the White House, they want to do...

The White House and Republican members of the House committee responsible for tax policy promised Wednesday to work on a 10 percent middle-class tax cut in the next Congress. “We are not done yet,” the Trump administration and the House Ways and Means Committee Republicans said in an unusual joint statement. “We are committed to delivering an additional 10 percent tax cut to middle-class workers across the country. And we intend to take swift action on this legislation at the start of the 116th Congress.” The joint statement follows previous middle-class tax cut promises from President Trump that took his...

In today's installment of exploding heads, President Trump has proposed to overturn, via executive order, the constitutionally dubious "birthright citizenship" interpretation of the 14th Amendment. There's no question he has the authority to issue such an order in his capacity as president and commander-in-chief -- each of the three branches is equally responsible for fidelity to the Constitution, and each is free to interpret it as it sees fit. That the 14th amendment -- the centerpiece of the Reconstruction Amendments passed and ratified under the Johnson and Grant administrations, but proposed and voted in by the Radical Republicans in Congress...

Sen. Lindsey Graham (R-SC) announced on Tuesday that he plans to introduce legislation ending birthright citizenship for children born to illegal immigrants on American soil, citing it as a “magnet for illegal immigration.” President Donald J. Trump announced on Tuesday that he plans to draft an executive order to end birthright citizenship for children of illegal immigrants born in America. Trump told Axios’ Jonathan Swan: But now they’re saying I can do it with just an executive order. Now, how ridiculous–we are the only country in the world where a person comes in, has a baby, and the baby is...

Prominent investor Mark Mobius said Monday that he sees the recent correction deepening if Republicans lose control in Congress next week. "If, for example, the Democrats get control of the House, I believe this will be bad for the U.S. market," Mark Mobius, co-founder of Mobius Capital Partners, said in a Bloomberg TV interview. "So you will probably see more of a correction going forward in the U.S. market." From a technical investing perspective, Mobius said the market "looks very bad." All three major stock indexes are down sharply in October. The Dow Jones Industrial Average is down nearly 6...

"If Clinton takes office, the scandals won’t come to a screeching halt. Nothing about the latest chapter of Clinton scandal lends itself to a tidy conclusion. There will always be a seepage of fresh emails; new revelations about some impropriety regarding the Clinton Foundation, Clinton donors, Clinton staff and the like; and reports of Bill Clinton saying or doing something compromising or otherwise inappropriate. There will never be a last email, a last allegation of pay to play or a last word written by a former Clinton insider. Nothing will stop the ooze of Clinton corruption"

President Trump is preparing to announce a sweeping border crackdown in a speech Tuesday, a week before the midterm elections, in which he is expected to invoke emergency powers to stop migrants from entering the United States and depict them as a grave national security threat, administration officials said Friday. Trump is considering steps that would bar migrants from crossing the border and deny them a chance to apply for asylum in the United States, measures that legal scholars and immigrant rights groups say would contravene U.S. laws and international treaties, likely triggering challenges in federal court. The president, undeterred,...

President Trump announced Monday that he will introduce a new tax cut for middle-class Americans in November. “We’re giving a middle-income tax reduction of about 10 percent – we’re doing it now for middle-income people,” he told reporters. The president described the proposed tax cuts again Monday night while speaking at a Ted Cruz rally in Texas, saying, “We’re going to be putting in a 10 percent tax cut for middle-income families. It’s going to be put in next year. In addition to the big tax cuts you’ve already gotten.” He added that Congress would vote on the proposal after...

Most of us understood, I think, that the Democrats’ attempt to bring down Brett Kavanaugh with a pathetically thin allegation of sexual misconduct as a teenager would energize the Republican base just in time for the 2018 elections. But apparently the “Kavanaugh effect” extends further than that. A new poll by NBC News/Wall Street Journal finds that likely voters in the most hotly contested House races favor Kavanaugh’s confirmation by a significant margin. To be specific, in districts rated as “toss up” or “leans” by the Cook Political Report, voters favor Kavanaugh’s confirmation 43 percent to 33 percent. How does...

Former Vice President Joe Biden is viewed by many as the Democrats’ best hope of winning back those blue-collar workers in states like Ohio and Michigan who defied tradition and voted for Donald Trump in 2016. Certainly, compared to progressives like Sen. Elizabeth Warren (D-Mass.) or Sen. Kamala Harris (D-Calif.), the likeable “Uncle Joe," raised in hardscrabble Scranton, Pa. by middle-class parents, seems a good bet to reconnect with those voters. But what does Biden or any other Democrat hoping to beat President Trump in 2020 offer the middle class? Nothing but the politics of envy and a transparent effort...

Thousands of illegal aliens are swarming the Texas border this month in advance of the migrant caravan marching through Mexico, prompting Chief Patrol Agent Manuel Padilla, Jr., the Customs and Border Patrol Sector Chief of the Rio Grande Valley, to beg for help dealing with the onslaught of illegal aliens, gang members and drug cartel smugglers. Just on Saturday over 700 illegal aliens were caught, with over 12,000 caught in the past three weeks. In addition, safe houses have been busted and drug smugglers intercepted by the overstretched CBP in the Rio Grande Valley. 16,000 “family units” were reported caught...

From decrying illegal immigration to espousing an America First trade policy, from denouncing “angry mobs” to taking jabs at “Crazy Maxine” and “Pocahontas,” few would disagree that when it comes to triggering lefties, President Trump is the ultimate Zen master. And given the president’s almost superhuman ability to drive the Left insane with the push of a few buttons to his Twitter account, one might be forgiven for being surprised that one seemingly ubiquitous Saturday tweet topped all or most of the rest, not by calling someone “Horseface” (although yeah, that was hilarious) or taking another well-deserved jab at Robert...

Caravan refers to, “A group of travelers, as merchants or pilgrims, journeying together for safety in passing through deserts or hostile territory.” Conjuring up images dating back to biblical days of people braving hardship during their travels, the media has coopted the term for political benefit to describe a horde of illegal immigrants heading to the U.S. just ahead of a major election. They are neither merchants nor pilgrims. I doubt they are facing severe hardship during their journey as most of their basic needs are being met courtesy of wealthy benefactors. The current caravan is a group of four- to...

Rep. Andy Biggs (R-Ariz.) says GOP House leaders put their members in a tough spot by failing to deliver on promises like a border wall, but that Republicans are gaining late traction by casting the election as a choice between job creation or angry mobs. "I like the catch phrase 'jobs or mobs,'" the first-term senator told Hill.TV's Friday edition of Rising. "We either are going to get more jobs or you gonna get mobs. The Democrats are their own worst enemy at this time because they don't have a policy for anything so they are just attacking." Biggs, whose...
