We all just saw Bush on TV talking about investigating this tragedy and generally pussy-footing around the issue. What Bush is forgetting is that we are sure of who has done this, and there is no reason anymore for investigations. If Bush will not ask Congress for a Declaration of War against Afghanistan, I say Congress should force his hand by passing such a declaration immediately.

Today I was listening to the cowards in congress give totally lame speeches. I am angry! Words, more words. It makes me sick. I listened to Sen. Schumer until it made me so angry I called his office. They told me I should be ashamed. Of what? Telling them what an idiot he is for grandstanding with a speech. I don't want to hear a speech from ANYONE. I want action NOT words. There was some initial joy on FR yesterday when reports came in about attacks on Kabul. We thought that President Bush sent a clear and decisive message very quickly. We now know that the attacks did not come from the U.S. I hope that President Bush does not wait long for a reaction -- even if the actual perpetrator is not immediately hit.
