Today I was listening to the cowards in congress give totally lame speeches. I am angry! Words, more words. It makes me sick.
I listened to Sen. Schumer until it made me so angry I called his office. They told me I should be ashamed. Of what? Telling them what an idiot he is for grandstanding with a speech. I don't want to hear a speech from ANYONE. I want action NOT words. Words, just more words. The phoney tears...I am suppose to be ashamed. I'm NOT!
They can't find Osama bin Laden but they can tell me my phone number. Big deal! They have caller ID. I gave my name, address and where I would be today. They think I'm harrassing them. So be it! They haven't seen anything yet!

I'm sure people will be so impressed to know that our government can identify it's own citizens but have no idea how to respond to a war against it's citizens. I want to PUKE!

Bummer - I found it shocking (though refreshing) that New York's Visiting Senator hadn't found a microphone while her adopted city was being destroyed.

For Chissakes take a breath will ya. Politicians speak, that's what they do. I heard most of Schumer's talk and thought it was excellent.
Put aside the partisanship for a bit. This whole thing is bigger than that.

Shut the hell up! Maybe you don't have the guts to call YOUR senator. That's why you have IDIOTS representing you. Thanks!

NEVER FORGET THE HYPOCRISY

Put aside the partisanship for a bit. This whole thing is bigger than that.I agree, Schumer sounded sincere and pledged to support President Bush.

Oh, thanks! I was ALREADY angry! But DON'T call the damn fools because they could care less. They want us to listen to them make meaningless, empty speeches. But, they don't want to hear what anyone else has to say. They can kiss my ass. I'm through listening to THEM!
And NO that is NOT what they are suppose to do! They are suppose to do something besides TALK!

When Chuckie and Hillary spoke as the "heartbroken and caring Senators from New York", I started screaming at the TV. How dare they show their faces anywhere. Those two have done as much as they possibly could to put this country in extreme danger. And then they get face time on TV to show their "concern". Give me a bleeping break!

That sorry piece of crap had the audacity to say, in his first few minutes of spewing his crap, that we should just move on. Not those words EXACTLY, but REAL close.
If we are to 'just move on' can 'we' just plan to make sure he is in the way as 'we' move on?
My kids aren't happy campers. I shut down the tv and unplugged it after hearing that trash.

Whether it was a good speech or not, I didn't hear it, but Schumer is still a Clymer.
To: mommadooo3
Oh, please don't hurt their 'feelings'! I am NOT in the mood to be lectured to by ANYONE, especially the two total stupid morons who have allowed this to happen by ignoring the obvious. This is WAR! If they don't have the stomach for it they should get the HELL OUT!

I don't like Schumer, but I agree, he gave an excellent speech.
To: Who is George Salt?
His speech was nothing compared to Hill's. She looked like she was trying to get hers included in a book of greatest speeches of all time. She failed. I didn't think you were supposed to campaign on the Senate floor.
To: Slyfox
You and me both, pal! **Steamin' and screamin'**
To: kcvl
kcvl: I'm with you!
To: TightSqueeze
Schumer sounded sincere upChuck has been able to fake sincerity for years.
To: Hillarys Gate Cult
I'm with you! Hillary just had to make it all about her!
Talking about her daughter etc!!! I did change the channel at that point.
Schumer's speech wasn't near as bad. I did have to give Gephardt and Daschle some
credit for decent speeches, though. Didn't expect them to be that well spoken.
