The leader of one of the nation’s oldest and largest unions stunned political observers by issuing a surprise endorsement for a Senate Republican stalwart over the weekend. Teamsters General President Sean O’Brien, who famously nearly came to blows with now-Secretary of Homeland Security Markwayne Mullin during a Senate hearing before ultimately becoming acquaintances, issued a ringing endorsement of Sen. Ashley Moody, R-Fla., signaling a major break from national union sentiment that has tended to favor Democrats. "Just voted in the State of Florida for the first time, and very proud to have cast a ballot for Sen. Ashley Moody," O’Brien,...

House Democratic leaders are holding off on deciding whether to punish Rep. Haley Stevens, D-Mich., after she endorsed a Republican in Michigan's Senate race, drawing calls from fellow Democrats for her removal from the party's House caucus. Stevens endorsed former Rep. Mike Rogers, R-Mich., over Democratic Senate nominee Abdul El-Sayed, a former public health official, on Nov. 1 — just two days before Tuesday's midterm elections. The decision prompted sharp criticism from Democrats, including lawmakers who want Stevens expelled from the House Democratic Caucus, but party leaders are waiting until after the elections to address her future. A senior Democratic...

President Trump on Monday argued Republicans should be able to “win in a landslide” while warning that his administration’s achievements will be “wiped out” if Democrats emerge victorious in the midterm elections. “All the things that we’ve done, everything gets erased,” Trump told Fox News host Sean Hannity of what will become of his no tax on tips, overtime and social security policies if Democrats take the House and Senate in the midterms. “They got to get out,” Trump urged GOP voters in his final pitch before Election Day. “Pretend I’m on the ballot. Do whatever you want, but we...

In Patriot Games, Admiral Greer, played by James Earl Jones, corners Jack Ryan with an ancient question: “What in life can you be sure of?” Ryan doesn’t cite career, country, or gold. He answers without hesitation: “The love of my daughter.” In a world governed by impermanence and calculated risk, Ryan named the one currency that isn’t transactional: unconditional devotion. Greer was probing character, but modern epidemiology suggests the admiral was probing human survival. We spend fortunes on statins, gym memberships, and organic produce, chasing biological certainty. Yet decades of clinical data reveal that one of the most potent life-extending...

CHAOS Between Democrats Throws Major Wrench in Leftist Midterm Takeover Plans | Ep. 99. Author : Stu and Dave Do America. Nov 2, 2026 [...] Haley Stevens now endorsing Mike Rogers, the Republican, amid Michigan Democratic feud. Uh, this is, so this kind of came out of nowhere. We'll tell you the backstory here in a second, but again, this is the Democrat who won like 48% of the vote in the primary. So, you know, has a big audience in Michigan. People wanted a lot of people wanted her to win. Uh she just a few days before the...

Science Alert reports that Alexander Ioannidis of Stanford University and his colleagues analyzed the genomes of more than 1,000 people who live in French Polynesia; 12 genomes from individuals on the island of Rapa Nui; and the genomes of people native to Hawaii, Samoa, Tonga, and Tahiti. First, the researchers isolated segments of Polynesian ancestry with machine learning, and then they applied an identity by descent method, which can identify common ancestors of living people and people from the past. The study shows that people traveled across Polynesia in small populations, sometimes resulting in a genetic bottleneck of reduced genetic...

Nov 2, 2026. Amna Nawaz led PBS NewsHour chose to sidestep the epidemic of antisemitism, (especially following dual Islamist bigots: Hasan Piker and his uncle Cenk Uygur pushing hatred in campaigning for el Sayed) and instead give El-Sayed a political assist, airing a segment on “anti-Muslim” sentiment just one day before the election. Even worse, it legitimized Hamas-linked CAIR by presenting it as a credible source, despite its leader, Nihad Awad, praising the October 7 atrocities. This wasn't journalism; it was political damage control.

La Brújula Verde reports that 4,000-year-old paw prints have been found in adobe brick at Tavşanlı Höyük, a settlement mound in western Anatolia that dates back some 8,000 years. The sun-baked bricks were part of a wall that collapsed during a fire in the Bronze Age. Mehmet Nuri Ersoy, Turkey's Minister of Culture and Tourism, said that the prints had been made by a dog. Erkan Fidan of Bilecik Şeyh Edebali University and his excavation team have also uncovered ceramics, adobe, bone, burnt wood, and flint at the site. To read about other ancient canine prints preserved in brick, go...

You need to go vote for every Republican on your ballot. The election Tuesday isn’t going to be the breaking point for this little experiment we call the “United States of America,” but if the Democrats substantially improve their position, it could haul us a long way down the dark road they seem intent on following to its dead end. And it is a dead end, not only for the country but perhaps for a lot of people, as early as 2029. That may sound alarmist to the Color Revolution Deniers™, but facts are facts. I got grief recently from...

Sakana Sushi Bar in Hoover said it has fired an employee who was caught on camera taking nearly a bucket full of candy on Halloween after she lied about apologizing to the homeowner. In the video posted to Facebook, a few people can be seen walking up to a house that has left out a bucket of candy for trick or treaters. An adult wearing a Sakana Sushi Bar shirt proceeds to grab several handfuls of candy leaving the bucket virtually empty as they walk away. “Greedy adults stole almost the entire bowl of candy,” the post reads. “Literally left...

Daily Readings from the USCCBOne of those at table with Jesus said to him, “Blessed is the one who will dine in the Kingdom of God.” He replied to him, “A man gave a great dinner to which he invited many. When the time for the dinner came, he dispatched his servant to say to those invited, ‘Come, everything is now ready.’ But one by one, they all began to excuse themselves.” Luke 14:15–18Today we continue reading from Jesus’ teachings during a dinner at the home of one of the leading Pharisees. Present were many of the town’s social elites,...

Florida woman was arrested on a DUI charge after allegedly trying to pay for food with tampons at a Taco Bell drive-through, where an employee reported that she appeared intoxicated and confused. The encounter took an unusual turn when Roshelle Anderson, 37, struggled to explain where she was going, at one point telling police her mother lived "two stones" away. Boca Raton police arrived at the restaurant on West Palmetto Park Road around 9:08 p.m. on October 25 and saw Anderson get out of the driver's seat of her car.

The Greenwich woman who appeared to have her phone swatted away by Gov. Ned Lamont on Saturday as she attempted to ask him a question told News 8 on Sunday that she is unlikely to seek criminal charges. The woman, Jackie Homan, identified herself as a reporter for a local conservative media outlet. She was filming on her phone’s camera as she approached the governor at a Saturday morning campaign event at Scalzi Part in Stamford. She began asking Lamont about a traffic incident involving one of his close advisors, Rob Blanchard of Newtown, who was issued an infraction two...

Prime Minister Andy Burnham has reportedly allowed in at least 10,000 illegal boat migrants into Britain since coming to power, as arrivals surged over the weekend. According to analysis from GB News, some 10,139 migrants have successfully reached UK shores by illegally crossing the English Channel from the beaches of France since Andy Burnham took power in a Westminster palace coup in July. The broadcaster calculated that this means Burnham is averaging 97.5 illegal boat migrant arrivals per day, which is higher than his Tory predecessors Theresa May, Boris Johnson, and Rishi Sunak. GB News calculated that Burnham’s daily average...

You may be used to seeing police cars cruising through your neighborhood or helicopters flying overhead. But what if an officer could respond to an emergency in a small electric aircraft that looks like a giant drone? That idea is getting closer to reality in Florida. The Florida Polytechnic University Police Department in Lakeland has introduced a flying patrol vehicle that the university has nicknamed Astro. Jetson, the company behind the Jetson ONE personal flying machine, built the single-seat aircraft. According to the university, it’s the first U.S. law enforcement agency to add this type of piloted electric aircraft to...
